How to find the Shadowed Prayers assassin
Prioritize Menella’s identifying clue over a memorized position in the crowd. GameSpot describes its observed suspect on the left when facing down the stairs, while Game8 places him in an upper-right area. Since those accounts differ, scan the gathered people for tied-back hair and a wounded right arm rather than relying on either location.
What happens if you fail?
Game8 warns that failure can lead to Nadinia’s death and further quest consequences. Treat that as walkthrough guidance rather than a confirmed official description of the quest’s failure system. The immediate practical safeguard is to make an inn save before the prayer sequence if you want a way back to that point.
