To find a particular fish in Roblox Fisch, look up its entry in the Fisch Bestiary and check the listed location along with its bait, time, weather, and season preferences. The Bestiary is organized by rarity, with a location field for each entry; confirm the catch instructions in your in-game Bestiary because the game and its community-maintained reference can change.
How to find a fish’s location
- Search for the fish by name. Open the Fisch Wiki Bestiary and use your browser’s find function to locate the entry.
- Read the location field. This identifies where the fish can be caught. Fisch has many kinds of areas, including islands, ocean areas, and specialized zones.
- Check the rest of the catch instructions. Read the entry’s bait and any stated time, weather, or season preferences before fishing.
- Confirm in the game. The in-game Bestiary is the final check for a particular catch, especially after an update.
The in-game Bestiary is a logbook that records fish and items caught as you play. The wiki’s tables group entries by rarity and include location, bait, preferences, and an in-game description.
How to read the Bestiary conditions
- Location tells you where to fish; it is only one part of an entry’s instructions.
- Bait identifies the bait listed for that fish.
- Time, weather, and season are preferences when an entry specifies them. A value shown as “any,” or a preference that is not listed, should not be treated as a restriction.
Do not assume that a fish can be caught under only one set of conditions unless its entry says so. Check the individual row rather than applying another fish’s requirements.
Locations covered by the current Bestiary reference
The Fisch Wiki Bestiary includes location categories for areas such as Ancient Archives, Ancient Isle, Atlantis, Cultist Lair, Moosewood, Mushgrove Swamp, Roslit Bay, The Depths, and Vertigo, among others. Use the fish’s own entry to identify its location; this is not a complete list of Fisch areas.

Because the wiki table is the place where each fish’s location and conditions are listed together, use its individual entries rather than relying on a short island list or a count by rarity to plan a catch.
What counts toward Bestiary completion?
According to the community Bestiary page, trading for a fish does not increase your Bestiary completion percentage; you need to catch it yourself. The same page reports that 70% completion unlocks the purchase of the Destiny Rod and that 100% completion earns the Aurora Bobber. These are page-reported rewards and requirements, so check the in-game information in case an update changes them.
