A ban from a single game is usually issued by that game’s creator, and Roblox Support cannot lift it. You need to contact the creator. A ban from Roblox itself is a separate account-level moderation action, and it is handled through the appeal route named in the notice you received.
Step 1: Identify who issued the ban
Roblox calls its games “experiences,” and that is the term its support pages use. Read the message that appears when you try to join, or the notice in your account, and look for the error code.
- Error Code 600. This means the experience creator banned your account from that experience. Roblox’s help article titled Error Code 600: Banned from an Experience states: “Error code 600 indicates your account has been banned by the experience creator for violating Roblox Community Standards within their experience.” Roblox says this ban is not issued by Roblox, and you can still access other experiences and platform features.
- A custom-rule enforcement. Creators can set their own rules for an experience. Roblox describes these as rules that must be clearly available to players and cannot conflict with Roblox’s Terms of Use or Community Standards.
- A Roblox account moderation action. This affects your account across Roblox, not just one experience. The moderation notice tells you whether the decision can be appealed and where.
The distinction matters because each type has a different contact and a different appeal route. Sending an account appeal for a creator’s ban will not get it reviewed, and the reverse is also true.
Step 2: If the creator banned you from an experience
Roblox Support says it cannot remove a ban issued by an experience creator, and it does not contact creators on a player’s behalf. Your options are the channels that Roblox and the creator provide:

- Send the creator a Roblox message or chat, if you can reach them that way.
- Check the experience’s community wall, if the creator has enabled one.
- Look at the social links the creator shares on their profile, community page, or experience details page, and contact them through those links.
Keep your message short and specific. Name the experience, state the ban you received, and say what you believe happened. Creators can reverse their own bans, but they are not obliged to reply, and Roblox does not guarantee that a creator will respond.
Step 3: If the ban enforces a creator’s custom rule
When a ban is based on a rule the creator wrote for their experience, the appeal goes to the creator. Roblox does not handle appeals for custom-rule violations.

There is one exception. If a rule, or the way it was enforced, appears to break Roblox policy, Roblox says it can moderate the experience itself. Report that concern through Roblox’s reporting tools rather than through the account appeal form, because the account form is for appeals of your own moderation action.
Step 4: If Roblox moderated your account

- Roblox Support Form. If the violation is not listed under Violations & Appeals, the notice directs you to the Support Form.
An appeal asks Roblox to review the decision again. It does not guarantee that the penalty will be removed.
Step 5: Write and submit an account appeal

- a brief statement explaining why you are appealing
Roblox’s general appeal instructions add these requirements:
- Deadline: submit within 30 days of the moderation action.
- Email: use a valid email address associated with the account.
- Who sends it: the account owner must send the appeal.
- One review only: a moderation action that has already been reviewed cannot be reviewed again, and duplicate appeals for the same action will not be reviewed.
Because of the one-review rule, do not send several appeals for the same action in the hope that one will be picked up. Send one clear appeal and wait for the response.

Step 6: Check your appeal window if you live in the EU
Roblox says that users in the European Union have six months to appeal an initial moderation action, which is longer than the general 30-day period. For a dispute about a Roblox content moderation decision, EU users may choose a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body. Roblox directs EU users to the regional instructions linked from its appeal page, and you should follow those instructions for your case.
Step 7: Check your subscriptions after a long experience ban
If a creator bans a player from an experience for more than 14 days, Roblox says that any experience subscription for that experience is automatically canceled without a refund. This rule applies to experience subscriptions only. Roblox has not said that it applies to other purchases, so do not assume a refund or cancellation for items you bought elsewhere on the platform.

What is not guaranteed
Several outcomes depend on the issuer, not on you, and the official guidance does not promise them:
- Not every ban can be appealed to Roblox. Creator bans and custom-rule bans go to the creator.
- An appeal does not guarantee that a ban or moderation action will be reversed.
- Creators are not required to respond to a message about their ban.
Avoid paid “unban” services or anyone who offers to remove a ban for a fee. The official routes above are the ones Roblox describes for these cases.
