Rebirth Island was scheduled to return to Warzone shortly after Black Ops 6 Season 01 launched on November 14, 2024. Activision did not give a specific return date in its announcement, so “shortly after” is the most precise timing supported by that source.
What was Rebirth Island’s Black Ops 6 return date?
Activision’s November 7, 2024 announcement set November 14 as the launch date for Black Ops 6 Season 01 and said players could drop into Urzikstan “at launch” and Rebirth Island “shortly after.” It described Rebirth as a Warzone map for Resurgence, updated with Black Ops 6 innovations. That distinction matters: November 14 was the scheduled start of the season, not an exact Rebirth Island return date. Activision’s December 3 Season 01 Reloaded announcement scheduled Reloaded for December 5, but does not establish Rebirth’s precise return day either. See the Season 01 Reloaded announcement.
Is Rebirth Island still in Warzone?
Yes, official seasonal announcements in 2026 continued to include Rebirth Island in Warzone content. The January 29 Black Ops 7 and Warzone Season 02 announcement listed it as a Resurgence map alongside Haven’s Hollow, with Solos, Duos, and Quads. See the Season 02 announcement.

A map’s inclusion in a seasonal announcement does not confirm that it is in the live playlist at a particular moment. For October 8, 2026, the official seasonal announcements cited here do not establish the current Warzone rotation. Check the in-game Warzone playlist for the live options rather than treating a season-level map listing as a real-time status update.
