How Firefly plays
Current secondary guides describe Firefly as a five-star Fire Destruction main DPS whose central mechanic is her Ultimate. Activating it enters Complete Combustion, advances her turn, and replaces her Basic Attack and Skill with enhanced versions. Those enhanced attacks—and her ability to apply Fire Weakness, as described by Pocket Tactics—explain why Break Effect and toughness support are central to her build. The September 2026 HSR Build page recommends Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge. Pocket Tactics also lists this set, making it the clearest shared choice among the current guides reviewed.

Planar ornaments: Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern
Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern is the shared planar-set recommendation from HSR Build and Pocket Tactics. Pocket Tactics highlights its interaction with enemies that have Fire Weakness. It also lists Talia: Kingdom of Banditry as an alternative, so consider it when your available pieces make it a better practical fit.

HSR Build’s September 26, 2026 summary and Pocket Tactics’ June 28, 2026 guide agree on this main-stat pattern. For substats, prioritize Speed until you reach the breakpoint needed for your intended rotation, then focus on Break Effect and ATK%. The guides do not establish one Speed target that applies to every team or encounter; set the target around your supports and planned turns rather than chasing an unsupported universal number.

Light Cones
HSR Build ranks Whereabouts Should Dreams Rest first in its September 26, 2026 recommendations, and Pocket Tactics also identifies it as Firefly’s signature option. It may not be available to every account, so use a suitable alternative you own rather than treating it as a requirement.

Availability and acquisition depend on the game’s current banners and systems. The guides establish these as build options, not that every player can obtain each one at any given time. HSR Build also publishes Light Cone rankings and relative damage figures, but those are that page’s own build estimates rather than independently verified results, so they are not treated here as universal performance measurements.
Best teams by roster
Team rankings vary across the reviewed guides and dates. HSR Build’s September 26, 2026 page calls Firefly, Ruan Mei, Fugue, and Lingsha its strongest team. Eneba’s version 4.5 guide, dated September 7, 2026, recommends Firefly, Tingyun (Fugue), The Dahlia, and Lingsha as its overall team, and Firefly, Harmony Trailblazer, Asta, and Lynx as its F2P lineup. Build the team around roles as well as character names: Firefly deals the main damage; Break-oriented support helps capitalize on her Break-focused setup; and a sustain character keeps the team alive. Ruan Mei, Fugue, Harmony Trailblazer, The Dahlia, and Lingsha appear in the reviewed recommendations, but the sources do not establish one universally best support combination. Asta and Lynx are the named lower-cost options in Eneba’s F2P team.

Practical build priorities
- Choose the team first. Decide which support and sustain characters you can use, then plan Speed around the turns you want Firefly to take.
- Equip the shared set recommendations where practical. Farm Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge and Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern, while using a strong available alternative such as Talia if your planar pieces warrant it.
- Use the agreed main-stat pattern. Start with ATK% body, Speed feet, ATK% sphere, and Break Effect rope.
- Finish with substats. Reach the Speed breakpoint appropriate to your rotation, then improve Break Effect and ATK%.
- Select a Light Cone you actually have. Whereabouts Should Dreams Rest leads the latest reviewed ranking, while On the Fall of an Aeon and Indelible Promise are alternatives named by both guides.
