The VALORANT Night Market announced for December 11 was the 2025 event, not a confirmed upcoming 2026 date. Riot’s VALORANT account announced the return on December 11, 2025; reports described a limited-time shop with six randomly selected, player-specific weapon-skin offers.
What was the December 11 Night Market date?
The announcement referred to December 11, 2025. On December 5, 2025, Insider Gaming reproduced a post attributed to the VALORANT account: “Don’t miss the opportunity, the Night Market returns December 11th”. A regional mirror also reproduced the wording “NIGHT MARKET RETURNS DECEMBER 11 // #VALORANT.”

That date is historical. The available reports do not establish a new 2026 Night Market date, so December 11 should not be read as an announcement for this year.
How did the Night Market work?
Coverage described the Night Market as a temporary in-game shop that revealed six randomly selected weapon-skin offers for each player. The selections were player-specific, so the event did not guarantee that a particular skin would appear in every account’s shop.

Reported discounts ranged from 10% to 49%, according to secondary coverage. Those figures describe the reported 2025 event, not a guaranteed discount for any future Night Market or a promise about an individual offer. Purchases were made with VALORANT Points; the event involved optional digital cosmetics, not a physical product.
When did the 2025 event end?
Reports generally gave January 6, 2026, as the end date. Sheep Esports gives January 6 in its article text but January 7 in its headline, while Insider Gaming also reported January 6. Because the coverage conflicts in its presentation, treat January 6 as the reported end date rather than an independently confirmed schedule.

The available reporting does not specify a geography-specific schedule or establish regional start times, so it does not support a time-zone conversion.

Because offers were random and individual, the practical decision depended on the skins shown to you—not on a guarantee that a desired skin would appear. Consider whether you want the revealed cosmetic, the displayed price and discount, and whether the purchase fits your own spending limit. The reports do not establish that buying a skin improves competitive performance.
