That is the creator’s account, not a finding independently confirmed by YouTube. The report does not reproduce a platform notice or establish which specific video elements YouTube considered, whether the action was a channel termination rather than another enforcement measure, or whether an appeal was filed or resolved.

Why could gameplay be covered by YouTube’s sexual-content policy?
YouTube’s Nudity and sexual content policy explicitly applies to real-world, dramatized, illustrated, and animated material, including video games. It says nudity or sexual acts intended for sexual gratification are prohibited. The policy also says that sexual material that does not meet removal criteria may be age-restricted instead.
YouTube lists several factors it considers when evaluating sexual content. They include whether body parts are the focal point, whether people are posed or acting sexually, whether the language is lewd, whether imagery is blurred or masked, and whether it appears briefly or for an extended time. These are considerations in the written policy, not evidence of what prompted the reported action against j0nathan.

Blurring can matter, but is not a guarantee
The policy names blurred or masked imagery as one factor; it does not promise that covering an element makes a video compliant. The subject and duration of the footage, how it is presented, and its surrounding context can also matter. YouTube says artistic context may support allowing material such as a video-game sex scene when the primary purpose is clear and the depiction is not gratuitous. The available report does not show enough of the video or any platform explanation to determine how those considerations applied in this case.
How do the game’s content warnings fit in?
The ESRB rates Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival Mature 17+ and lists Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Nudity, Strong Language, Strong Sexual Content, and Use of Drugs. Its rating summary describes torture and graphic violence, a partially nude couple, and a sex-club level with latex-clad figures. This rating describes the game’s content for consumers; it does not determine whether a particular YouTube upload complies with YouTube’s rules.

Steam lists October 8, 2026 as the game’s release date and describes it as a first-person action-horror survival game. Its content disclosures include mature language, strong violence, gore, torture, consensual mutilation, substance use, tobacco, and non-explicit consensual sex. Xbox also lists an October 8, 2026 release date and Mature 17+ descriptors for its Xbox Series X|S and PC versions.
Removal, age restriction, and game ratings are different decisions
