What changed in Schedule I v0.3.6?

How item-slot filters and lockers work
Item-slot filters let players specify which items employees should or should not put in a particular slot. The release notes describe both whitelists and blacklists, giving players a way to control employee item placement.
Lockers replace beds when assigning employees in new setups. Existing saves keep employee bed assignments for compatibility, and beds remain usable. The developer describes lockers as more space-efficient and able to store more.
Save-system changes and bug fixes
The developer said a large part of the saving system had been rewritten. The release also consolidated NPC, property, and business save files. Faster saving and more reliable, faster Steam Cloud sync were stated goals, not independently measured benchmarks.

Other changes and fixes in v0.3.6 include:
- The trash-can pickup area became square and visible while placing the trash can.
- Fixes for occasional long-distance NPC pathing failures and employee pathing failures.
- A fix for employees trying to pick up items when their inventory lacked capacity.
- A fix for a performance issue related to the botanist.
- A fix for police displaying question marks while unconscious.
- A fix for viewmodel drift.
- A correction to an incorrect statement about how dealers are unlocked.
Community vote announcement
In the 8 June release note, the developer said the infrastructure was ready for the first community vote and expected it to open the following week. That describes the announcement at the time, not the current status of any vote.

Do lockers replace beds in existing saves?
No. Existing saves keep employee assignments to beds for compatibility. Lockers replace beds for new employee assignments, and beds can still be used.
