How to reach The Abyss
- Progress the story to Act 3.
- Travel to Deep Docks and use the Diving Bell Key to open the bell route, if you have not already done so.
- Ride the Diving Bell down from Deep Docks to enter The Abyss.
- Descend until you reach a bench, then look for a concealed opening or room above it. One guide describes the area above the first bench; another places the device above a bench in the lowest section. The exact landmark is not consistent across guides.
- Find and activate the Weaver rune-map device to add The Abyss map to your map.
Where is The Abyss map?
The map device is inside The Abyss, in a hidden elevated area near a bench. Check above the bench and use your double-jump to reach the concealed room described by Nintendo Life. The current map FAQ instead identifies a bench in the lowest section. Since guides do not clearly establish whether these descriptions refer to the same spot, check above the benches you pass rather than relying on a specific ordinal.
Is The Abyss map sold by Shakra?
No. The map is collected from a Weaver rune-map device inside The Abyss; it is not one of Shakra’s paid maps. If you miss a map, one route guide suggests checking with Shakra at Bone Bottom for missing maps, but its information does not confirm that this recovery option applies specifically to The Abyss map.

Can Shakra replace a map I missed?
