The original Skill Issue set was offered through a Discord Quest in April 2024, not as a retail code or gameplay challenge inside THE FINALS. That Quest ended on April 16, 2024, and its codes expired on May 30, 2024, so those original codes are no longer valid. A later page mentions a separate Skill Issue 3.0 Quest, but the available information does not establish its deadline year or whether it is currently available.

How the original Discord Quest worked
Discord’s April 2, 2024 announcement described the original offer as a Discord Quest. Players who completed it received a redemption code in Discord’s Gift Inventory. The set could be used across platforms where the player played THE FINALS through cross-progression.
- Accept the Quest in Discord’s desktop app through User Settings > Gift Inventory.
- Launch THE FINALS and stream your gameplay in a Discord server with at least one friend for 15 minutes.
- After completing the Quest, find the code in Gift Inventory. Discord said this original Quest was exclusive until April 16, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. UTC, and its codes were valid until May 30, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. EDT.
These are historical instructions for the 2024 Quest, not a guarantee that a later Quest is available or uses the same process. Discord’s announcement advised checking User Settings > Privacy & Safety > In-game rewards if that original Quest was not visible or game activity was not counted.
What is known about Skill Issue 3.0?
The THE FINALS 10.0.0 update page mentions a separate “Skill Issue 3.0” Discord Quest. Its excerpt says to accept the Quest, play THE FINALS for 15 minutes, and complete it before April 5; it also says the code can be redeemed on the Embark website. The excerpt does not give the year for April 5 or a code-expiration date, so it is not enough to confirm that players can earn a code now.

Where to redeem a code
Embark’s general code guidance for THE FINALS says to sign in to the intended Embark ID, open Settings > Redeem Code, enter the code, and confirm. The guidance is for Game Pass rewards, so treat it as general Embark code information rather than a Quest-specific confirmation. Rewards are tied to the Embark ID that redeems them; Discord’s original Quest article said the set could be used across platforms through cross-progression.
