No: the sources reviewed do not document a PS5 emulator that plays retail PS5 games. The emulator most likely to be mistaken for one, shadPS4, is an early-stage PS4 emulator for desktop computers. Its documented workflow uses game dumps from your own PS4 copy—not a retail disc—and does not support PS5 game files.
Can a PS5 emulator play retail games?
There is an important distinction between a PS4 emulator and a PS5 emulator. shadPS4 describes itself as an early PlayStation 4 emulator for Windows, Linux, and macOS; it is not a PS5 emulator. The shadPS4 guide does not document putting a retail disc into a PC and playing it. Instead, it describes installing a game dump made from your own copy. The project warns that it remains early in development: “Many games do not work, and the few that do work usually face various emulation issues.” Check the project’s current compatibility information before expecting a particular PS4 game to run. shadPS4 Quick Start
What files does the documented shadPS4 workflow need?
The core item is a dump of a PS4 game you own. Updates, DLC, and certain support files are separate and may be optional. The Quick Start describes these files and folders:

Can you play a retail PS4 disc on a PS5 instead?
If you want to play a PS4 disc rather than use a PC emulator, Sony supports compatible PS4 discs on PS5 consoles with a disc drive. Keep the disc inserted while playing; PS4 discs cannot be used with PS5 Digital Edition. Sony says the overwhelming majority of its 4,000+ PS4 games are playable on PS5, while noting exceptions and possible errors or unavailable features. Neither option in these sources establishes a way to play retail PS5 games through a PS5 emulator. For a retail PS4 disc, Sony’s PS5 backward-compatibility support is the documented route; for shadPS4, follow its current guide for PS4 dumps and check game-specific compatibility.
