What was the giveaway prize?
Newegg advertised one AMD-powered gaming PC containing:

- AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT
The available announcement does not confirm the system’s manufacturer or model, motherboard, memory, storage, power supply, cooler, case, operating-system edition, retail value, or number of winners. A later CyberPowerPC listing with similar hardware is not evidence that it was the giveaway system.

How could viewers enter?
The event-specific entry process was not fully documented in the available coverage. The report indicated that more details were expected during the livestream.
That means there is no reliable basis for claiming that entry required watching, following Newegg, commenting in Twitch chat, subscribing, buying AMD hardware, or completing a particular online form. Rules from other Newegg or AMD promotions should not be applied to this event.

Can you still enter?
No. The advertised livestream date was December 15, 2025, so the original giveaway is not an active opportunity in September 2026. Readers should be wary of unofficial pages claiming to reopen the promotion or requesting payment, passwords, financial information, or unnecessary personal details.
For future promotions, verify the sponsor, deadline, eligibility requirements, entry method, and official rules through Newegg’s verified website or social accounts. Do not assume that a later promotion is connected to this one.

Why the hardware pairing attracted attention
The Ryzen 7 9800X3D is an eight-core, 16-thread Zen 5 desktop processor for Socket AM5. Newegg’s product listing specifies boost speeds of up to 5.2GHz, 104MB of total cache, and a 120W TDP; it also notes that a cooler is not included. See the Newegg Ryzen 7 9800X3D listing for product details.

- Well-Rounded: 32GB DDR5-6000MHz RAM, 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD, and 850W 80+ Gold PSU provide quick loading times and stable power. Connections: HDMI 2.1b, 3x DisplayPort 2.1b (up to 4 displays), USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps), WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, 5-Gigabit LAN, 7.1 HD Audio.

Warranty service is provided through ZOTAC USA. Return shipping after warranty service is available only for U.S. addresses.
The Radeon RX 9070 XT is a high-end gaming GPU. Specifications vary by board partner, but an ASUS Prime listing identifies that model as having 16GB of GDDR6 memory, a 256-bit memory interface, PCIe 5.0 x16 connectivity, one HDMI 2.1b output, and three DisplayPort 2.1a outputs. Those specifications should not be treated as confirmation of the exact graphics card used in the giveaway.
Together, the advertised CPU and GPU represented a high-end gaming pairing, but the available evidence does not justify claims about guaranteed 4K performance, benchmark results, or the prize’s exact monetary value.
Do not confuse it with Newegg’s 2026 7700X3D giveaway
Newegg later ran a separate AMD Game On 7700X3D PC Giveaway from July 16 through July 26, 2026. Its official rules described a different promotion: one custom 7700X3D PC, U.S. eligibility with Rhode Island excluded, and an online Gleam entry process.
Those details do not establish the entry rules, eligibility, prize value, or winner for the December 2025 9800X3D/RX 9070 XT livestream giveaway.
