Borderlands 4 has six Ripper Drill Sites, two each in Fadefields, Carcadia Burn, and Terminus Range. Each is a repeatable activity with enemy waves followed by one or more bosses; a September 2025 guide lists reported Legendary drops for each site, but does not give drop rates or guarantee a particular reward.
To farm a site, find its drill icon, use the Moxxi’s Big Encore machine at the entrance, clear the waves and bosses, collect the loot, then return to the machine to replay it. The official Borderlands Support update notes for January 29, 2026 say UVH levels increase dedicated loot drop levels, but do not provide a replacement for the full site-by-site loot table.

How to farm a Ripper Drill Site
- Find a Ripper Drill Site marked by a drill icon in the open world. Some locations require story progression; PowerPyx reports the activities are not missable and are reachable in free roam after the story.
- Use the Moxxi’s Big Encore machine at the entrance to start or replay the activity.
- Clear the enemy waves and defeat the listed boss or bosses. Waves can also produce general loot, while boss kills may yield dedicated loot.
- Collect drops, then return to the entrance machine to pay for another run.
Some sites have as many as three bosses, which can mean more loot opportunities if you can clear them efficiently. The cited farming guide provides no measured clear-time or drop-rate comparison, so choose a site based on the item you want, boss count, region, and how quickly you can complete it.

The Prospects is in Fadefields’ Hungering Plains and is associated with Sidney Pointylegs. The September 2025 guide lists Noisy Cricket, Disc Jockey, and Swarm as reported drops for this site.
The Pitted Stain
At Idolator’s Noose in Fadefields, The Pitted Stain has three listed bosses: Sal the Engineer, Frank the Furnace, and Hank the Welder. Its reported loot includes Chuck, Chaumurky, and Bloody Lumberjack.

Saw’s Clench
Saw’s Clench is in Carcadia Burn’s Ruined Sumplands. The Rippa Roadbirds are Lil’ Grunt, Baby Grunt, and Gruntabulous Vork. PC Gamer reports that defeating all three gives a chance at the Wombo Combo; the older guide also lists Spinning Blade and Potato Thrower IV. Official Borderlands Support notes dated January 29, 2026 record a fix for loot falling into unintended areas after defeating the site’s enemies.

In Terminus Range’s Stoneblood Forest, The Lowering March is associated with The Battle Wagon. Its reported drops are Compleation and Finnity XXX-L.
The Old Scrape
The Old Scrape is in Terminus Range’s Cuspid Climb. The listed bosses are Saddleback and The Immortal Boneface, with Hellwalker, War Paint, and Lucian’s Flank reported as loot.

Current loot advice and source limits
The Borderlands Support update notes dated January 29, 2026 state: “UVH levels now increase dedicated loot drop levels. The higher the level, the higher the chance of dedicated loot dropping!” This makes UVH level relevant to dedicated loot, but the notes do not republish the complete six-site loot table or give item-specific odds.
The item associations above come from a guide last updated September 22, 2025. Later updates may change loot pools, so use them as reported drops rather than promises. No verified, named drop percentages were found in the researched sources.
