Place the named scene in the next panel with the specified characters. Positions such as left, right, edge, cage, grave and bush matter.
Solutions are not always unique. The game can accept different characters, panel orders or fewer panels when the finished story still satisfies the title. Scene names below follow current walkthrough terminology; localized editions may use different labels.
The full release has 14 chapters. Chapters can be completed in any order. Finish all 14, then in The Ceremony drag the crown from the right page onto the pedestal on the left to unlock the Epilogue. Devilish puzzles, marked with a red star, unlock only after the Ceremony. Sources: Stories in Play, Steam community guide.

What changed in current guides
- The current release contains 14 chapters, counting Final Chapter: Novels—not merely 12 or 13.
- Devilish levels unlock after The Ceremony and are separate from normal progression.
- Multiple valid solutions are intentional; substitutions and shorter panel sequences can work.
- Genesis is Chapter 10 in the full release, distinct from the demo’s Genesis level.
- Older 2024 guides may omit Devilish variants, Secret Stamps, alternate endings and the Final Chapter. The current chapter structure is documented by Stories in Play and the updated Steam guide. Alternate-solution behavior is discussed by esports.gg.
