Ports, USB and audio
AOC lists two HDMI 2.0 inputs and one DisplayPort 1.4 input. The monitor also includes a USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub with three downstream ports and a 3.5 mm headphone output.
The built-in speakers are listed as 8 W ×2. The published specifications do not establish the supported refresh rate at every resolution or over each input, USB charging behavior, console compatibility, or the exact signal features available through HDMI versus DisplayPort. Check the model’s manual for those details before buying for a particular console or computer.

Stand, mounting and desk fit
The supplied stand is removable, and AOC lists a 100×100 mm VESA mounting pattern. That makes a compatible monitor arm a possible alternative, but the arm must support the monitor’s weight and accommodate its dimensions and clearance. The VESA pattern alone does not confirm compatibility with every arm.

When did AOC launch it?
The available coverage does not establish one uncontested first-announcement date. AGON by AOC’s PRWeb announcement is dated November 7, 2024, while a search-result report for other launch coverage gives October 23, 2024. Treat those as dates attached to different coverage rather than as proof of a single global launch date.
What the specifications do—and do not—tell you
Established by AOC’s documentation
- The monitor is a 34-inch curved QD-OLED ultrawide with 3440×1440 resolution.
- AOC lists 175 Hz maximum refresh, 0.03 ms GtG response and 1800R curvature.
- Connectivity includes two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, a three-port USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub and a headphone output.
- The stand is removable and the monitor supports 100×100 mm VESA mounting.
Still requiring independent testing or manual checks
- Brightness, HDR performance, color accuracy, viewing angles and uniformity.
- Actual input lag, motion clarity, overshoot and sustained performance at 175 Hz.
- OLED burn-in behavior, power use, fan or acoustic characteristics and long-term reliability.
- Exact refresh-rate limits, variable-refresh support and feature behavior for each video input.
What to verify before purchase
- Confirm that your graphics card or console can drive 3440×1440 at the refresh rate you want.
- Check the manual for the supported modes over HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4; do not infer them from the headline 175 Hz figure.
- Compare the live regional price, stock, return policy and warranty because the captured retailer prices can change.
- Measure desk depth and width, then check the stand’s adjustment range or the clearance required by a VESA arm.
- If using an arm, verify its load rating and 100×100 mm compatibility against the monitor’s final shipped weight and dimensions.
- Review OLED care guidance and the retailer’s panel warranty, especially if the display will show static desktop elements for long periods.
Bottom line for prospective buyers
On paper, the AGON PRO AG346UCD is a high-refresh 34-inch QD-OLED ultrawide with 3440×1440 resolution, extensive basic connectivity and flexible VESA mounting. The $599.99 US starting price was AOC’s captured listing, not a permanent market price. Decide only after checking current regional terms and the manual’s signal-mode details, and do not treat AOC’s speed figures as independently measured performance.
