Requiem is crafted at the Crafting station (Crafting Altar) inside the Ancient Archives on Ancient Isle. It requires Level 1,000, costs 15,000,000 C$, and uses four specific materials: five Requies Essence, one Requiem Core, one Awakened Omnithal, and one Fossilized Plesiosaur. It is not bought from a merchant or found in a chest.

The level and recipe are listed by Fisch’s current craftable-rods reference, with the Requiem-specific listing at Fischepedia’s Requiem page. The item is spelled Requies Essence in those current listings; it is not “Requiem Essence.”
Where to craft Requiem
- Travel to Ancient Isle.
- Enter the Ancient Archives.
- Use the crafting station, also described as the Crafting Altar.
- Open the craftable-rod list and select Requiem.
- Confirm the craft after checking the Level 1,000 requirement, the 15,000,000 C$ cost, and every ingredient.
Current references verify the station, location, and Requiem selection, but do not establish the exact wording of the final interface button. Do not rely on guides that claim a specific “Craft,” “Create,” or “Confirm” label unless it matches your live game client.

How to obtain every Requiem material
Requies Essence
You need five Requies Essence. The current Requiem and craftable-rod listings identify it as a required ingredient, but do not provide a separate acquisition method on the referenced pages. Use the item name exactly as shown in your inventory and crafting interface.
Requiem Core
The Requiem Core comes through the Magical Diver questline. The listed hunting objectives are:

Awakened Omnithal
Awakened Omnithal has two roles: it is the third Magical Diver hunt and it is also a final Requiem ingredient. Plan for one to remain available for crafting after completing the quest requirement.

A frequently suggested farming tactic is using a Glitch Potion while obtaining Awakened Omnithal so the fish may be duplicated. The current reference presents this as a strategy recommendation, not a guaranteed requirement or guaranteed result.
Fossilized Plesiosaur
Fossilized Plesiosaur is a separate recipe ingredient. It cannot substitute for Awakened Omnithal or Requiem Core.

These are the values currently listed on Fischepedia’s Requiem entry. “Max Kg” is the listed capacity, not a promise that every catch will reach that weight.
Passives and how to avoid snapping the reel
Husk and Requies mutations
- Requiem has a 20% chance to apply the Husk mutation, listed at 0.15×.
- Its first passive multiplies the final fish weight by 0.4×.
- Catching a Husk fish grants a duplicate with the Requies mutation, listed at 9.8×.
- The duplicate’s weight is multiplied by 1.6×.
Input-based progress
Each start and end of an input while the fish is on the bar grants +5% progress. The trade-off is handling discipline: repeatedly spamming input can forcibly snap the reel. Use deliberate input starts and releases rather than rapid, uncontrolled presses.

Best Requiem enchants by goal
The current Requiem reference lists several build paths instead of declaring one universally best enchant. Choose according to what you are trying to improve.

The 27.048× figure belongs to the mutation/weight setup as presented on the current Requiem page; it should not be treated as a universal multiplier for every enchant combination. Your choice depends on whether you value mutation returns, control and freezing, or stability during the reel.
Outdated Requiem information to ignore
- A recipe costing 25,000 C$ and using Magic Thread, Ancient Thread, Spectral Essence, and Phantom Wood conflicts with the current 15,000,000 C$ recipe.
- The claim that Requiem has no level requirement conflicts with the current Level 1,000 listing.
- The craftable-rods page separately mentions a maximum craftable-rod level of 900 while listing Requiem at Level 1,000. Because that is internally inconsistent, do not use 900 as a confirmed maximum.
- A guide identifying Tidefall Version 1.67 as Requiem’s introduction is not confirmed by the current Requiem page.
- No command is required to obtain or craft the rod.
