Cyber Monday 2025 has ended: Sony’s promotion began November 21, 2025, and a December 2 tracker found several discounts still available in the United States. The prices below are historical snapshots, not live 2026 offers; check the retailer before buying because stock, region and expiration changed quickly.
What Sony’s 2025 promotion included
Sony’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday campaign covered PS5 consoles, PS5 Pro, PS VR2, PlayStation Portal, DualSense controllers, games, PlayStation Plus and participating retailers. Sony advertised up to $100 off eligible PS5 consoles in select regions and up to 75% off hundreds of PS5 and PS4 digital games. The company described the offer as beginning November 21, 2025, for a limited time.
Hardware prices and availability were retailer- and country-dependent. Digital-store prices were separate from physical-product discounts and could vary by account region.
The 10 strongest documented deal candidates
This ranking combines Sony’s official advertised prices with contemporaneous US retailer snapshots reported after Cyber Monday. “MSRP” means Sony’s stated price; it is not proof that every retailer sold the item for that amount.

Which deal fits your purchase?
Choose the $399.99 digital bundle if you never buy discs
The 825GB Fortnite bundle was the lowest official PS5 price in Sony’s listed hardware lineup, but its drive cannot play used, borrowed or boxed games. Its value also depends on whether you want the included Fortnite cosmetics and V-Bucks.
Choose the $449.99 1TB bundle for more storage
The 1TB Fortnite model cost $50 more at Sony’s stated price and provided more internal storage. It remained a digital-only system, so the extra capacity—not disc support—was the main hardware distinction from the 825GB bundle.

Choose a disc PS5 when physical games matter
The post-event US snapshot of as low as $449 made the disc edition competitive with Sony’s $449.99 1TB digital bundle. A disc model can play physical PS5 and PS4 games and lets you resell or borrow them, although its lowest price was a retailer snapshot rather than a guaranteed nationwide offer.
Choose PS VR2 at $299 only if you already want VR
The reported $299 Amazon price for the Horizon bundle was a reduction of more than $100 and the strongest documented PS VR2 hardware deal in this roundup. PS VR2 requires a PS5; the discount makes entry cheaper, but it does not change the need for a suitable play space or a library of VR games.

- 🚀 CPU: 3.5GHz, 8-core AMD Zen 2
- 🚀 Storage: Custom 825GB SSD
- 🚀 RAM: 16GB GDDR6
- 🚀 GPU: 10.3 teraflop RDNA 2 GPU
Choose Portal for remote play, not as a second console
The $20/£20 reduction was notable because Portal discounts were described as uncommon. Portal streams compatible games from your PS5 over a network connection; it is not a standalone PS5 and does not replace the console.
Choose DualSense Edge for customization
The reported $40 US or £50 UK saving applied to Sony’s premium controller. It makes most sense for players who will use its configurable controls and replaceable components; a standard DualSense is the lower-cost choice for ordinary play.
Rank #4
- Enjoy smooth and fluid high frame rate gameplay at up to 120 fps for compatible games, with support for 120Hz output on 4K displays.
- PS5 consoles support an 8K output, so you can play games on your 4320p resolution display.
- Maximize your play sessions with near-instant load times for installed PS5 games.
- 825GB SSD allows ultra-fast load times, while 3-D audio output produces crisp acoustics.
- Explore uncharted virtual territories and slay dragons with this sleek Sony PlayStation 5 gaming console.
Choose the game discounts when you already own a PS5
College Football 26 and Madden NFL 26 fell to $29.99 from $69.99 in the US digital sale. Astro Bot reached $39.97 from $69.99 at Walmart as a physical PS5 copy. These are game entitlements or software purchases, not console bundles, and the digital prices were tied to the US store region.

On December 2, 2025, GamesRadar reported that Cyber Monday was over while some US discounts were still holding: PS5 disc consoles as low as $449, digital consoles as low as $399, the PS VR2 Horizon bundle at $299, Portal at $20 off and DualSense Edge at $40 off. Those were time-sensitive retailer observations. They should not be presented as current prices without checking the destination store.

Why geography changes the answer
Sony’s Philippines Holiday Sale illustrates the difference. It ran December 18–31, 2025 and listed PHP 5,600 off PS5 consoles, PHP 900 off DualSense controllers, PHP 1,700 off PULSE Explore earbuds and PHP 1,100 off PULSE Elite headsets. Selected games included DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH, Astro Bot, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Stellar Blade. Sony warned that retailer prices, availability and stock could vary, and that offers lasted while supplies lasted.
A US price therefore cannot be used to answer what a shopper should pay in the Philippines, the UK or another market. Check the local PlayStation Store and authorized retailers for the applicable currency, model and warranty.
How to verify a historical deal before purchasing
- Confirm the country storefront and the exact PS5 model: digital, disc or bundle.
- Check whether the listed amount is an MSRP, a one-time retailer price or a digital-store promotion.
- Read the product page for stock status, shipping, warranty and return terms.
- Compare the final checkout total, including taxes and delivery, with the stated discount.
- For digital games, make sure your PlayStation account uses the same region as the store listing; digital purchases generally cannot be transferred between regions.
The Bottom Line
The best documented Cyber Monday 2025 values were the $399.99 PS5 digital Fortnite bundle, the $449.99 1TB bundle, post-event US PS5 prices as low as $399/$449, PS VR2 at $299, and the rare Portal and DualSense Edge reductions. All are historical 2025 figures; verify a live local listing before treating any as available now.
