Wool (Limit OFF), Bory (Awakened), Tojo (Awakened), Elforia (Awakening), Fammy, Free, and Itacho (Susano’o) are strong alternatives, but the best pick for your team depends on whether you need damage, support, defense, or Yen.
Anime Mysterious tier list: the current ranking
Anime Mysterious is a Roblox lane-battler with tower-defense-style runs: you deploy units against incoming enemies, and a balanced lineup can combine damage, support, defense, and Yen generation. The table reflects the overlap among four early community and editorial tier lists published September 29–October 2, 2026. It is a practical synthesis, not an official ranking or a fixed ordering within each tier. Destructoid, TechWiser, Pro Game Guides, and MrGuider note that rankings can change as players learn more and the game updates.

Why the top units stand out
Ryu
Ryu is particularly attractive in longer games, where his Deferred Judgment damage-over-time effect has time to contribute. Destructoid also highlights his slowing utility, which can help manage enemies as well as deal damage.

Yuto (Pure Love)
Yuto is a premier DPS choice in the cited lists because of his high stats and a passive that copies damage stats. TechWiser and Destructoid mention pairing him with Cursed Ring for skill cooldown or SPA reduction. Treat that as a build suggestion from those guides, not a guarantee that the same setup is optimal in every mode or after every balance change.
Sukuno (Mohoraga)
Destructoid calls Sukuno the best Mythic for DPS and notes that he can help farm Yuta when paired with Ryu and Jogo. That makes him a high priority for players seeking damage, especially if they can field the supporting units in that suggested combination.

Jogo (Six-eye)
Jogo’s evolved ultimate, damage, range, and utility are recurring reasons to prioritize him. He is part of the strongest cross-list consensus, though the sources do not provide standardized values for direct comparisons with the other S-tier units.
Wool (Limit OFF)
Wool provides support rather than simply competing for a damage slot. Destructoid describes a team buff that builds through Fracture stacks, making Wool especially relevant alongside units that deal damage across a large area.

Choose by the problem your team needs to solve
Tier is a useful starting point, but it should not override the needs of your current run. Compare candidates across damage, crowd control or team utility, economy, defense, late-game scaling, and fit for the stage or mode. The available lists do not establish a single set of numerical ratings across those axes, so use them as questions to ask rather than as invented scores.
- Opening-wave survival: Look for a unit that can help control or clear early enemies; a top damage ranking alone does not prove a unit will solve an opening weakness.
- Boss damage: Prioritize strong damage and scaling. Ryu’s longer-game damage-over-time case and the listed DPS strengths of Yuto and Sukuno make them relevant options.
- Team support: Consider Wool (Limit OFF) if your lineup can make use of its Fracture-stack-based buff, particularly with high-area-of-effect attackers.
- Yen generation: Spood (Yen), Bulme, and School Girl can contribute to the economy role. Spood’s placement varies: Pro Game Guides puts him in S, TechWiser in A, and Destructoid treats him as an economy unit.
- Progression gaps: Mid-tier or high-value alternatives may be more useful than another damage dealer when your roster needs a particular role or upgrade.
As Pro Game Guides’ Nikola Savic puts it, “A strong team needs units that work well together, so consider what your lineup is missing when choosing your next addition.”

What the tier list can—and cannot—tell you
These rankings are early editorial and community assessments for a new game, not a stable official dataset. Pro Game Guides says it will revise its rankings as more information about abilities, stats, and modes becomes available; MrGuider also warns that updates, new discoveries, and playstyle can change placements. Verify current in-game values before spending resources, especially after a balance update. Rarity by itself is not enough to establish which unit will improve your lineup.
