Microsoft’s March 7, 2024 announcement added eight selected PC games to Boosteroid, including Dishonored 2, Gears Tactics, and Ghostwire: Tokyo. To stream an eligible game, you need access to its supported PC version through a Microsoft Store purchase, PC Game Pass, or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate—and a separate Boosteroid membership. Game Pass does not include Boosteroid, and this is not access to Microsoft’s entire PC game catalog.
Which PC games did Microsoft add to Boosteroid?
Microsoft announced these eight titles on March 7, 2024, as selected games available through Boosteroid with Microsoft Store access:

These are the titles in that announcement, not a guarantee that all remain available in every region or storefront today. Boosteroid’s live games catalog is the place to check a title’s current availability and supported version.
What you need to play
There are two separate access requirements: an entitlement to the supported PC game and a Boosteroid membership. Microsoft’s announcement named a direct Microsoft Store purchase, PC Game Pass, or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate as ways to access the listed games. It did not say that a Game Pass subscription includes Boosteroid.

- Game access: A supported PC title you own through the relevant Microsoft Store integration, or access through PC Game Pass or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate while the title is included in your plan.
- Streaming access: A separate Boosteroid membership.
- A suitable setup: A supported device, a compatible input method for the game, and an internet connection that can sustain streaming.
Game Pass access is subscription-based: if a game leaves the service or your subscription lapses, that entitlement may end unless you buy the game. A console copy alone does not establish that you have access to the PC version. Check the game’s Microsoft Store listing and Boosteroid’s catalog before subscribing or purchasing. Storefront support depends on the game
The rollout developed in stages. Microsoft’s May 2023 announcement said the first Xbox PC games would be available on Boosteroid from June 1, 2023, using eligible Steam and Epic Games Store versions, with Microsoft Store support to follow. The March 2024 announcement added Microsoft Store access for its selected games. Neither announcement means that every Boosteroid title works from every storefront: support is title-specific.

Before relying on a purchase, confirm the exact PC edition and storefront in the current catalog. The 2023 rollout details are in Microsoft’s initial announcement.
How to launch a supported Microsoft game
Microsoft documented this flow in March 2024. Boosteroid may change interface labels, so use the current interface if they differ.

- Log in to Boosteroid on a supported device.
- Open Library, then select Xbox to find supported Xbox PC games.
- Choose the game and select Play.
- Sign in with the Microsoft account that owns the eligible PC game or provides the Game Pass access.
- Confirm the account and launch the game.
Boosteroid later announced Xbox single sign-on on June 17, 2025, for supported Xbox PC titles purchased through the Microsoft Store. With an Xbox account linked, users could be signed in automatically at launch. This convenience feature is not the same as game access: the supported title and entitlement are still required. What this announcement does—and does not—mean
It is a selected-games arrangement, not the full PC Game Pass catalog
Microsoft described the games as selected and said more titles would be added over time. The March 2024 list does not establish that every Game Pass PC game can be streamed through Boosteroid. Check the live catalog for titles beyond that announcement.

It requires PC-game access, not just an Xbox console copy
The relevant entitlement is access to the supported PC version. Do not assume that buying a console edition grants a Windows PC copy; verify the individual game’s entitlement and Boosteroid support.
Boosteroid is not Xbox Cloud Gaming
Boosteroid is a separate cloud-gaming provider. The arrangement lets users stream supported PC games through Boosteroid; it does not make Boosteroid an Xbox Cloud Gaming client or mean Microsoft hosts every Boosteroid session on Xbox Cloud Gaming infrastructure.

The partnership’s broader scope does not confirm that any particular later Microsoft, Bethesda, or Activision Blizzard game is playable now. Use the catalog rather than inferring availability from the agreement.
Devices, connection quality, and trade-offs
Microsoft’s March 2024 announcement listed Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile devices, and described Boosteroid support for PCs, smartphones, tablets, and smart TVs. Boosteroid’s service overview advertises browser and app access across Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, Android TV, iOS, ChromeOS, webOS, and Samsung Tizen. App availability can vary by platform and region; check Boosteroid’s current service information before relying on a particular device.
Cloud streaming can make supported PC games playable on hardware that cannot run them locally, without local game downloads or a high-end gaming PC. The trade-off is that streaming quality depends on network conditions, location, device, software, and server availability. Image compression, latency, queues, or outages can affect play, and a strong connection is especially important for latency-sensitive games. Wired Ethernet or reliable 5 GHz/6 GHz Wi-Fi, a nearby server region, and reduced household network congestion can help; they cannot guarantee a particular experience.
Boosteroid’s January 21, 2026 pricing update listed Ultra monthly at €12.89, annual Ultra from €7.49 per month when annualized, and a six-month Ultra Pro promotion at €49.89 through September 1, 2026. These are euro-denominated figures from that update, not a universal checkout quote; region, taxes, currency, plan availability, and promotional eligibility can change the amount. When Boosteroid is a good fit
- You have a reliable connection but lack a gaming PC, or want to play supported titles on a Mac, Linux device, phone, tablet, or compatible TV.
- You already have eligible access to a supported PC game and want to stream it rather than install and run it locally.
- You understand that Boosteroid is a separate subscription and are comfortable checking title and storefront compatibility individually.
When it may not suit you
- You expect the entire PC Game Pass library or every Xbox game you own.
- Your connection is unstable, congested, high-latency, or subject to a restrictive data cap.
- You need the lowest possible latency for competitive play, or prefer offline access, local image quality, or local control over mods and files.
- You do not want to pay separately for Microsoft game access and cloud streaming.
Troubleshooting common access problems
The game is missing from the library
- Check the live catalog for the title and region.
- Verify the exact PC edition and storefront; a supported title may not accept every storefront version.
- Sign in with the Microsoft account that owns the PC entitlement or has the relevant Game Pass access.
- Confirm the title is included in your Game Pass plan if you rely on subscription access.
- If the game is listed but still will not launch, contact Boosteroid support.
An Xbox console purchase will not launch
Check whether that purchase includes access to the supported PC version. Console ownership by itself is not enough to assume a Windows entitlement; confirm the game’s Microsoft Store listing and Boosteroid support.

Sign-in repeats or launch fails
- Confirm you are using the correct Microsoft account and that the entitlement is active.
- Reauthorize or relink the account if prompted, and try the latest Boosteroid app or a supported browser.
- If a browser authentication window fails, temporarily test whether privacy settings are blocking the sign-in flow.
- Start the game from the current Xbox section of the Boosteroid library; contact support if authentication continues to loop.
Streaming looks poor or feels delayed
- Try wired Ethernet or strong 5 GHz/6 GHz Wi-Fi.
- Check whether a nearer Boosteroid region is available.
- Test during the hours you normally play and reduce competing network traffic.
- Confirm your controller, keyboard, mouse, and display work with the device and game.
