Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →You can start a study-with-me livestream from the YouTube app on an eligible Android phone, but YouTube’s mobile instructions describe a stream you start and manage—not a guaranteed unattended 24/7 broadcast. For a manually operated session, use Create → Live. For a stream that must keep running while you are away, treat that as a separate continuous-stream setup; YouTube’s encoder guide lists services that describe support for 24/7 broadcasts.
Before you start: check mobile livestream eligibility
YouTube’s mobile-live requirements include all of the following:
- Your channel has at least 50 subscribers and is verified.
- Live streaming is enabled, and the channel has not had a live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days.
- Your Android device runs Android 8.0 or later.
- You are at least 16 years old, under YouTube’s general live-streaming rules.
First-time activation can take up to 24 hours. Check YouTube’s current mobile livestream requirements and general live-streaming rules if you are unsure whether the feature is ready on your channel. All live content must follow YouTube’s Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. A restriction is not something to work around by switching channels.
If your channel has fewer than 1,000 subscribers
At 50–999 subscribers, mobile live may have an audience limitation, and the stream archive may be private by default. After a channel reaches 1,000 subscribers, YouTube says removal of the audience limitation can take several weeks. Check the stream’s visibility and the resulting archive rather than assuming either is public.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
Start a study-with-me livestream in the YouTube Android app
- Open YouTube and tap Create → Live. If you have not livestreamed before, enable the feature in advance and allow up to 24 hours for activation.
- Enter the stream details. Add a clear title and set visibility and audience options deliberately. Choose whether to start now or schedule for later.
- Choose the camera view or screencast. A typical study-with-me stream uses the phone camera to show the desk or study scene. Screencasting is available if your format calls for showing the phone screen instead.
- Check the framing and audio, then tap Go live. A stable, adjustable phone mount is optional; select one that fits your phone and the view you want. YouTube says expensive equipment is not necessary to begin.
- For a scheduled stream, return to Create → Live, open the calendar, and select the scheduled stream. Confirm the details before starting.
- When the session is over, tap Finish. YouTube creates an archive when available. You can edit its visibility or delete it.
YouTube’s mobile guide also describes a private Live Practice Mode for rehearsing setup and interaction without a real audience. It is rolling out to creators, so you may not see it on your account. YouTube recommends testing a livestream; its live-streaming tips also advise checking that a broadcast is viewable and monitoring audio and video. The detailed preview and monitoring instructions are written for encoder broadcasts, so do not assume every control appears in the same place in the phone app.
What “24/7” means when you stream from a phone
The app workflow above requires you to start and finish the stream. YouTube describes mobile live as “Good for vlogging and quick updates from your phone or tablet” in its Get started with live streaming guide. Its mobile instructions do not promise unattended operation, automatic restarts, or a phone-and-network setup that can sustain a continuous 24-hour stream. That is a limit of what the documentation establishes—not proof that no one can keep a phone stream running for that long.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
If you need a genuinely continuous broadcast, YouTube’s separate encoder guide lists third-party offerings whose descriptions include continuous 24/7 streaming. The listing shows that encoder and cloud options exist; it does not verify an individual service’s reliability, current price, or suitability. OBS appears in the guide as open-source streaming software, but YouTube does not say that OBS alone turns an Android phone into an unattended continuous-stream system. Use the phone app for a session you will manage; investigate an encoder or cloud workflow when continuity while you are away is the requirement.
Plan the replay and DVR limits before going live
A 24-hour stream is not a dependable way to create a complete replay. YouTube says streams shorter than 12 hours can be automatically archived; if a stream exceeds 12 hours, it may not be captured at all. YouTube’s archive guidance puts it plainly: “If your stream exceeds 12 hours, it may not be captured at all.” It recommends keeping a local recording as a backup, but the guidance does not establish that the Android app will make one for you while streaming.

DVR may also be limited or unavailable for streams longer than 12 hours. YouTube says disabling DVR is not supported for mobile streams; see its DVR guidance. If replay matters, plan shorter sessions and confirm that the archive exists and has the visibility you want rather than relying on a single all-day broadcast.
Choose vertical or horizontal framing for the study scene
Pick the orientation before you go live. A desk, books, timer, and creator may fit differently in each frame, and the orientation changes where viewers are likely to encounter the stream.

- [Quality Service] If you find any damage or other issues with the product upon receipt, please contact us immediately. We will handle it quickly
- Vertical (9:16): YouTube says vertical live streams can appear in a full-screen mobile live experience and may be discovered while viewers browse Shorts. It suits a phone-first composition if the important parts of the study scene fit in the narrower frame.
- Horizontal (16:9): A wider scene can show more of a desk and may be easier to view on larger screens. YouTube describes clickable chat and description links and live mid-roll or pre-roll ad features for horizontal streams; features depend on eligibility.
YouTube Studio on a computer can create horizontal and vertical formats together by default in the Live Control Room. YouTube’s instructions for editing that layout use a computer, and the additional format cannot be added after a stream has started. These are viewing and feature differences, not evidence that either orientation will attract more viewers.

- You do not see Create → Live: Recheck the subscriber, verification, age, device, restriction, and activation requirements. If you have just enabled live streaming for the first time, allow up to 24 hours.
- Your audience or archive is not public: If you have 50–999 subscribers, mobile audience limits and private-by-default archives may apply. Check the stream’s visibility and archive settings; reaching 1,000 subscribers does not necessarily remove the limitation immediately.
- You cannot find the scheduled broadcast: Open YouTube’s Create → Live flow and use the calendar to select the scheduled stream.
- The replay is missing or incomplete: A stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured. For important replays, do not treat a long stream archive as a guaranteed backup.
- Viewers cannot rewind far enough: DVR may be limited or unavailable beyond 12 hours, and disabling DVR is not supported for mobile streams.
- You need the stream to continue unattended: The mobile instructions do not document automatic continuity. Look into a continuous-stream encoder or cloud service rather than assuming the app will restart a dropped broadcast.
Or let it run in the cloud
For a prerecorded study scene or ambience video that should keep playing on YouTube while your phone is off, StreamNeo is a cloud alternative: upload the video, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It loops uploaded videos from the cloud; it does not broadcast a live camera feed.
