You can run a 24/7 Christian prayer stream on YouTube over Jio only if your connection can sustain the encoder’s upload bitrate and Jio confirms that your exact plan permits this use. YouTube supports encoder-based live streams, but neither YouTube’s bitrate recommendations nor a Jio plan label guarantees uninterrupted service. Verify livestream eligibility, measure upload at the streaming location, test the complete program, and check Jio’s terms before committing to a continuous broadcast.
Choose a setup that fits the program
For a fixed or looping prayer program, YouTube’s encoder workflow lets you send video and audio to a live event from production equipment. YouTube describes this workflow as suitable for production setups and overlays; it does not require a particular computer, encoder application, camera, or microphone. If you are broadcasting live spoken or sung prayer, choose audio equipment for that use; a prerecorded program may not need a live microphone.
First confirm that your channel is eligible. YouTube requires a verified channel and no live-stream restriction in the preceding 90 days. See YouTube’s live-streaming requirements and encoder workflow.
Configure the encoder for the Jio connection
Measure upload where you will stream
Run a speed test on the actual connection and device location you intend to use. Advertised download speed does not establish the upload capacity available to an encoder. TRAI does not prescribe a minimum broadband upload speed; it advises consumers to check providers’ declared speeds and fair-usage conditions. You can measure with TRAI MySpeed, and should repeat measurements at times representative of your planned broadcast.

Set video and audio conservatively
YouTube’s encoder guidance supports H.264, H.265/HEVC, and AV1 video, AAC or MP3 audio, constant bitrate (CBR), and RTMP or RTMPS. It recommends a two-second keyframe interval and says not to exceed four seconds. Set the encoder to the stream’s selected resolution and frame rate, then choose a bitrate that the measured connection can sustain with room for fluctuations.

These are YouTube ingestion recommendations, not measurements of Jio performance or a guarantee that a connection can maintain them. If upload fluctuates, start at a lower resolution or bitrate, test, and adjust only after reviewing stream health. Use YouTube’s encoder settings and bitrate guidance for additional resolution and frame-rate combinations.

Connect the encoder to YouTube Studio
- In YouTube Studio, start the live-stream setup and choose the encoder workflow.
- Copy the stream key from the event’s stream settings into the encoder’s stream-key field. Keep the key private; anyone with it may be able to send video to your event.
- Set the encoder’s video, audio, bitrate, and keyframe values, then start sending the feed.
- Wait for YouTube Studio to receive the signal and check stream health before making the event public or beginning the intended program.

Test continuity before calling it a 24/7 stream
Run a representative test that includes the actual audio and the amount of visual movement you expect. YouTube specifically recommends testing with similar audio and video movement, then monitoring stream health and review messages. A brief speed test cannot show whether upload will remain steady through longer periods, so observe the feed under realistic conditions before relying on it.

- Watch YouTube Studio for stream-health warnings, dropped frames, or an unstable incoming signal.
- Check the feed from a separate device to confirm that both sound and picture are reaching viewers.
- If the connection varies, reduce bitrate or resolution and repeat the test.
- A UPS for the router and encoder can help cover some power interruptions. Select capacity for the actual equipment load; it is not a guarantee against outages or connection loss.
YouTube’s published guidance does not promise uninterrupted operation or specify a 24/7 redundancy design. Plan for the possibility of power, network, encoder, or platform interruptions rather than treating a successful test as an uptime guarantee.
Check Jio’s terms for your exact plan
Jio’s FAQ describes the referenced unlimited plans as for home use and warns that RJIL may discontinue data services for misuse, fraudulent, unauthorised, or commercial use. The FAQ does not establish whether a particular Christian prayer stream on a particular plan falls into those categories. Also confirm the plan’s fair-usage limit and post-limit speed, and compare the provider’s declared typical upload performance with your measured results. TRAI’s broadband guidance explains provider disclosures and speed measurement; it does not set a minimum upload speed that makes a 24/7 stream viable.

Use original or properly licensed prayers, readings, music, images, and video. A song, recording, photograph, or video being religious in subject does not by itself grant permission to stream it. YouTube scans live streams for third-party matches. If it detects such material, it may show a placeholder and interrupt or terminate the stream if the issue persists. Licensed third-party material can still be interrupted unless the rights holder has added your channel to its Content ID allowlist. Completed streams may also receive Content ID claims. Review YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams.
