To loop Hindi guided sleep audio with rain sounds on YouTube Live, prepare a finished audio-video program, confirm that you have rights to every recording and sound, then send the program through an encoder configured to repeat it. In YouTube Studio, create or schedule the stream, enter its stream URL and key in the encoder, check the Live Control Room preview, and start the broadcast. The repeat control depends on the encoder you choose; verify its current instructions and test the loop before going live.

Prepare the narration and rain audio

  1. Build a program you control. Combine the Hindi guided narration and rain ambience in an audio or video project. Keep the narration and ambience as separate tracks or source files so you can adjust their balance or replace a sound if its rights are unclear.
  2. Choose a loop point deliberately. Arrange the program so it can restart without cutting off a sentence or creating an abrupt change in rain level. Listen through the end and beginning together; check for gaps, clicks, sudden volume changes, clipped audio, or a narration restart mid-phrase.
  3. Export or prepare the media source in a format supported by your selected encoder. YouTube’s setup guidance explains how to send an encoder feed, but it does not establish a particular encoder’s repeat controls or supported formats. Consult that tool’s current documentation for its exact workflow.

Clear rights for the live stream and replay

You need the necessary rights for both the live broadcast and any archived replay, including music licensing rights. YouTube’s Livestream terms and conditions state that content providers represent and warrant they have the necessary rights for live content on Google services, including music rights. Check each license for permission covering YouTube live transmission, monetization if relevant, territories, and replay.

Safer sources for rain and music

  • YouTube Audio Library: YouTube recommends its library of music and sound effects. Check the individual asset’s terms and attribution requirements.
  • Creator Music: It may be available for monetized videos in certain regions. Confirm that it is available to you and that the chosen track’s terms cover your intended use.
  • Your own recordings: Original rain recordings and narration give you more control, but account for rights in performers, compositions, samples, or other material included in them.
  • Third-party libraries: Read the actual license rather than relying on a “free” label or an attribution line. Those alone do not establish that live streaming and replay are permitted.

YouTube scans live streams for third-party matches. A detected match can cause the stream to be replaced by a placeholder, interrupted, or terminated. If you have a license for material enrolled in Content ID, ask the rights holder to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist before broadcasting; a license by itself does not guarantee an uninterrupted stream. See YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams, copyright on YouTube, and tips to find safe music.

Set up the YouTube Live stream

  1. Check eligibility. YouTube’s getting-started guidance says a channel must be verified, must not have had live-streaming restrictions in the past 90 days, and streamers must be at least 16 years old. Check your current access in YouTube Studio because feature access and restrictions can change.
  2. Open YouTube Studio → Create → Go Live. Create a stream or schedule one from Manage. Review the stream settings and decide whether you want a replay available afterward. YouTube’s stream settings guidance explains scheduling, reusing settings, and stream-key handling.
  3. Copy the stream URL and stream key from YouTube Studio into the corresponding server/stream URL and key fields in your chosen encoder. Treat the key as a secret: anyone who has it may be able to send a feed to your stream.
  4. Configure repeat in the encoder. Use that encoder’s documented repeat or playlist workflow for the prepared program. The YouTube setup pages do not document loop controls for OBS, hardware encoders, or other specific tools, so do not assume the control name or behavior. Check what the encoder does when the file ends and whether it restarts automatically.
  5. Start the encoder and inspect the preview. Wait for the feed to appear in Live Control Room. Check that both picture and sound are present and that audio levels are comfortable; then click Go live. Monitor the stream while it runs. YouTube’s live streaming tips recommend checking the preview and monitoring audio and video quality.

YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. If you keep the replay, the rights for the archived content matter too. See Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder and the Livestream terms and conditions.

Test the loop and plan for interruptions

Before scheduling a sleep stream, run a test with the same media and encoder configuration. Listen across at least one complete loop, inspect the transition in the preview, and confirm the encoder continues into the next repeat. For a longer unattended broadcast, compare encoder options on whether they can repeat a local file or playlist, how they behave at end of file, whether audio stays continuous at the loop point, how they recover after connection loss, and whether they can run unattended for the planned duration. These are practical checks, not features guaranteed by YouTube.

Troubleshooting common problems

What you see or hear Likely cause What to check
No preview appears in Live Control Room The encoder has not started sending, or the stream URL/key was entered incorrectly. Check that the encoder is running and that its URL and key match the stream selected in YouTube Studio. Re-copy them if needed, then wait for the preview again.
The program stops after one play The encoder’s repeat option is not enabled, or the selected workflow does not repeat that source. Verify the encoder’s current instructions and its end-of-file behavior. Test the full transition before going live.
A phrase is cut off or the rain level jumps at the loop The prepared file’s ending and beginning do not join cleanly. Rework the edit or fade so the narration completes naturally and the ambience does not jump; listen across the revised loop point.
Audio disappears, clips, or sounds unbalanced The source mix or encoder input may be wrong or too loud. Check the separate narration and rain tracks in the project, then inspect the encoder and Live Control Room preview before starting the broadcast.
The live stream is interrupted despite having a license A Content ID match may have been detected and the channel may not be allowlisted. Contact the rights holder and request that the channel be added to the Content ID allowlist; review YouTube’s live copyright guidance.
