To keep a YouTube playlist repeating, open it on the device you’ll watch on and turn on Loop or Repeat • Playlist. Choose a video quality that plays steadily on that device. Airtel broadband performance depends on your plan and the connection in your home; the provider name alone cannot guarantee a particular resolution or uninterrupted playback.
Playlist Repeat is different from Autoplay
Repeat restarts the selected playlist when it reaches the end. Autoplay starts another suggested video after the current playback ends; it does not ensure that the videos in your chosen playlist cycle. Turn on playlist Repeat for continuous playlist playback.
Be aware that repeat does not guarantee unattended 24/7 viewing. YouTube may pause and ask whether you’re still watching. Its Help page says the prompt may appear after 30 minutes of uninterrupted autoplay on mobile, 60 minutes on the web, or 180 minutes on TV. You need to confirm playback to continue.
Loop a playlist on your device
Computer
- Open a video from the playlist you want to play.
- Expand the playlist panel beside the video.
- Select Loop in the playlist box. The playlist will repeat when it reaches the end.
- To choose picture quality, open Settings > Quality in the player and select an available resolution if Auto is unstable.
Right-clicking the video and selecting Loop repeats only that single video, not the playlist. YouTube says its web playback prompt may appear after 60 minutes of uninterrupted autoplay.

Smart TV or game console
- Open the playlist in the YouTube app and start playback.
- Press down on the remote or game controller to show the playback controls.
- Select Repeat until the status reads Repeat • Playlist. Repeat • Currently playing loops only the current video.
- Open Settings > Quality and choose an available resolution.
YouTube may show the “Continue watching?” prompt on TV after 180 minutes of uninterrupted autoplay. Playlist Repeat does not bypass it.
Phone or tablet
- Start a playlist in the YouTube app.
- Use the Loop control in the playlist control box to repeat it.
- Check playback on the device that is actually playing the video: Autoplay settings can differ between devices.
Casting to a TV
You can cast from the YouTube app. For ordinary computer casting, the computer and TV or streaming device should be on the same Wi-Fi network. A phone or tablet can also link to a TV using a TV code when the devices are not on the same Wi-Fi. Check the repeat mode on the playback endpoint rather than assuming the controller’s setting applies.

Choose a quality that works on Airtel broadband
YouTube adjusts video quality based on factors including connection speed, screen size, the quality of the uploaded video, and browser support. The available resolution choices therefore depend on both the source video and playback device. A missing resolution may reflect a source or device limitation.
YouTube Help recommends a minimum connection speed of 7 Mbps for HD streaming on TV. This is YouTube’s recommendation, not a guarantee for any Airtel plan or any particular home. If playback buffers, try a lower available resolution and measure your connection near the TV rather than relying on the plan’s advertised speed.

Fix buffering, repeat problems, or a stuck TV app
- Check what you opened. Start the intended playlist, not just an individual video or a run of recommended videos.
- Verify the repeat state. On a TV, look for Repeat • Playlist; on a computer, confirm that playlist Loop is enabled.
- Lower the quality if needed. Try a lower resolution from the player’s quality menu if playback remains unstable.
- Check Wi-Fi at the playback device. YouTube suggests testing near the TV, moving the TV or streaming device within router range, reducing interference, and minimizing other network use.
- Separate app issues from connection issues. Reopen the YouTube app. If the TV app is still stuck, sign out and back in, restart the device, or check for device software updates. YouTube also suggests clearing app cache for some mobile playback problems.
- Try another playback route. If YouTube works on another supported device but not in the TV app, investigate the app or TV device. If playback fails across devices, investigate the connection or service. YouTube lists playing from a laptop connected to the TV by HDMI as an alternative; an HDMI cable is not required for playlist looping and will not improve Wi-Fi speed.
- Check your Airtel account and measured speed. Confirm your current plan details directly with Airtel and test actual speed near the playback device. The brand name does not establish your plan speed, data allowance, or in-home throughput.
