Agar Oracle Cloud Always Free VM se chalne wala 24/7 YouTube stream band ho gaya hai, pehle pata karein ki OCI instance khud ruk gaya hai ya sirf encoder, network, ya YouTube connection fail hua hai. OCI Console ka instance state aur notifications check karein; VM running ho to encoder logs aur YouTube Live Control Room ki stream health dekhein. Bina cause confirm kiye VM recreate ya stream key change na karein.
Pehle identify karein: kya band hua?
“Stream band” ka matlab alag-alag ho sakta hai: VM stopped ya disabled hai, encoder process exit ho gaya hai, VM ka outbound connection fail hai, YouTube ingest ko stream key ya RTMPS problem hai, ya playback sirf kuch viewers ke liye fail ho raha hai. In layers ko isi order mein check karne se bekaar changes aur data-loss ka risk kam hota hai.
1. OCI Console mein instance state aur notifications check karein
- OCI Console mein Compute → Instances khol kar us instance ko select karein. State dekhein:
RUNNING,STOPPED, disabled, terminated, ya unavailable. - Instance ke saath dikhne wale Console notifications aur tenancy ke current limits/usage dekhein. Agar instance stopped ya disabled hai, pehle Console ka reason samjhein; boot volume aur application data confirm kiye bina terminate ya recreate na karein.
- Apne account ki region aur Always Free eligibility verify karein. Oracle ke mutabik Always Free compute home region mein provision karna hota hai. Current quota aur availability account aur region ke hisaab se verify karein; Oracle Always Free Resources dekhein.
Oracle ki current documentation ke mutabik free allowance mein up to 2 VM.Standard.E2.1.Micro instances aur VM.Standard.A1.Flex ke liye 1,500 OCPU-hours aur 9,000 GB-hours per month shamil hain; A1 ka Always Free equivalent 2 OCPUs aur 12 GB memory hai. Ye tenancy allowance ke figures hain, aapke specific instance ki state ka diagnosis nahin. Oracle ke idle-resource rules bhi alag se apply ho sakte hain: saat din ke period mein CPU utilization ka 95th percentile, network utilization, aur A1 ke liye memory utilization—har ek 20% se neeche ho to resource reclaim ho sakta hai. Capacity error ko process failure na samjhein
Oracle ka out-of-host-capacity error instance create karte waqt mil sakta hai aur Always Free shape ki temporary availability shortage batata hai. Yeh apne aap mein pehle se chal rahe VM ke stream outage ka explanation nahin. Agar sach mein instance create ya restart karte waqt capacity error aaye, region mein doosra availability domain ho to try karein, warna baad mein retry karein. Trial khatam hone aur Always Free entitlement ko alag rakhein
Oracle ke mutabik free trial khatam hone ke baad bhi account active rehta hai aur allowance ke andar provisioned Always Free resources trial expiry se interrupt nahin hote. Allowance se zyada A1 resources disable ho sakte hain aur account upgrade na ho to 30 din baad delete ho sakte hain. Apne instance par yeh behavior lagu maan ne se pehle Console mein account state, entitlement aur resource usage verify karein. Upgrade ek conditional option hai agar workload free limits se zyada ho; Oracle kehta hai Always Free resources upgrade ke baad bhi uncharged rehte hain aur allowance se upar ka usage charge ho sakta hai. Agar VM RUNNING hai, encoder process aur logs dekhein
Abhi process ko restart karne ki generic command na chalayein: pehle identify karein ki stream FFmpeg, OBS, custom script, ya kisi service manager se start hota hai. Service ka actual naam aur deployment method jaane bina restart command galat process chala sakti hai ya doosri service ko interrupt kar sakti hai.
Process, exit status aur output
- Apne deployment ke documented tareeke se encoder ya service ki active/inactive state dekhein. Agar process exit hua hai, uska exit code aur recent logs note karein.
- Logs mein YouTube ingest errors, connection timeout, authentication/stream-key error, encoder crash, aur resource errors dekhein. Error ka exact timestamp likh lein.
- Agar local archive ya output file configure hai, verify karein ki file grow ho rahi hai. File ka na badhna capture/encoder issue ka clue ho sakta hai; file grow hona YouTube tak successful transmission ka proof nahin.

OBS par chal raha ho to dropped frames samjhein
OBS ke mutabik dropped frames remote server tak connection unstable hone ya configured bitrate ko sustain na kar paane ka sanket hain; zyada dropped frames stream disconnect kar sakte hain. OBS ki settings har Linux VM ya doosre encoder par lagu nahin hoti, aur uske kuch network options Windows-specific hain. Live Control Room mein status aur timestamps milayein
YouTube Studio ke Live Control Room mein stream health, status messages aur real-time metrics dekhein. Unka timestamp VM ke encoder logs ke saath compare karein: agar dono ek hi waqt par error dikhate hain, us waqt ka process ya ingest failure trace karna aasaan hota hai. Ek viewer ka issue ya sabka?
Reports ko viewers ke network ke hisaab se compare karein. Ek viewer ko playback error aaye to us viewer ka device ya connection suspect ho sakta hai; ek hi network ke kai viewers ko dikkat ho to us network ko check karein; alag-alag networks par viewers report karein to creator-side encoder ya stream ki jaanch karein. Encoder healthy dikhe to outbound path check karein
Agar encoder output theek hai par YouTube tak stream nahin pahunch rahi, VM se outbound internet connection ki stability test karein. OCI networking mein egress rules, security lists/network security groups, route aur provider-side connectivity dekhein. YouTube ki ingestion settings par khara utarna is baat ki guarantee nahin ki VM ka network us bitrate ko lagatar sustain karega.

Stream key, RTMPS aur encoder settings verify karein
Startup ya authentication error aaye to key refresh karein
Third-party encoder startup error par Live Control Room se current stream key le kar encoder mein update karein. Key ko password ki tarah treat karein: use public issue, screenshot, chat, ya logs mein share na karein. Nayi key se connect hone ke baad purani key par depend karne wali configuration verify karein. RTMPS timeout ya SSL error ke liye
- Live Control Room mein dikhaya gaya exact RTMPS URL encoder mein use karein; purane saved URL ko bina verify kiye reuse na karein.
- Confirm karein ki encoder RTMPS support karta hai aur port/connection settings uske documented format se match karte hain.
- Agar SSL error rahe, YouTube ke documented suggestion ke mutabik port 443 try karein—lekin URL aur encoder configuration Live Control Room aur encoder documentation se verify karke hi badlein.

Bitrate aur keyframe ko connection ke mutabik set karein
YouTube ki current encoder guidance RTMP/RTMPS ingest, H.264/H.265/AV1 video, AAC ya MP3 audio, constant bitrate, 60 fps tak, aur 2-second recommended keyframe interval batati hai; keyframe interval 4 seconds se zyada na ho. H.264 ke liye YouTube 1080p60 par 6 Mbps aur 1080p30 par 5 Mbps recommend karta hai. AV1/H.265 ke liye wahi resolutions/frame rates par 12 Mbps aur 10 Mbps recommendations hain. Fix ke baad service ko verify aur monitor karein
- Jis layer ki failure confirm hui, sirf usi ko apne deployment ke documented method se restart ya correct karein—poora VM tabhi reboot karein jab instance-level fault iska sabab ho.
- Encoder reconnect ho raha hai aur uske logs mein naya connection dikh raha hai, yeh confirm karein.
- Live Control Room mein stream health ko healthy dekhein, phir viewers se playback verify karayein.
- Agar archive/output configured hai to confirm karein ki file grow ho rahi hai. YouTube bhi archive file growth aur quality monitor karne ki salah deta hai.
