कम upload speed में कौन-सी bitrate चुनें?
Download speed नहीं, upload speed देखें: लाइव वीडियो आपके कनेक्शन से YouTube तक भेजा जाता है। एक speed test पूरी रात की स्थिरता साबित नहीं करता, इसलिए अलग-अलग समय पर जाँचें और test के दौरान उसी नेटवर्क पर बड़े uploads या downloads रोकें।
YouTube का सुझाव है कि उपलब्ध upload bandwidth का लगभग 20% खाली रखें। इसे लागू करने के लिए कुल stream bitrate—video और audio मिलाकर—स्थिर upload के करीब 80% से ऊपर न रखें। यदि OBS में dropped frames हों या YouTube stream health अस्थिर दिखाए, bitrate कम करें और दोबारा test करें। YouTube की सलाह के अनुसार margin रखें: YouTube streaming tips।
नीचे YouTube की H.264 live-ingest तालिका के सामान्य SDR मान दिए हैं। ये platform guidance हैं, आपके कनेक्शन की गारंटी नहीं। Minimum को लक्ष्य बनाने के बजाय स्थिर upload, बाकी network traffic और data budget को ध्यान में रखें।

तालिका H.264 के लिए है; AV1 या H.265 चुनने पर उसी संख्या को स्वतः लागू न करें। YouTube की पूरी encoder guidance में codec के अनुसार settings देखें: Choose live encoder settings, bitrates, and resolutions। सीमित upload में 720p30, 1080p30 से कम bitrate माँगता है। 60 FPS तभी चुनें जब तेज गति वाले दृश्य में उसका लाभ हो और connection उस bitrate को स्थिरता से भेज सके।
24/7 stream का data खर्च कैसे आँकें?
लगातार stream में bitrate सीधे लगातार data भेजने से जुड़ी है। Decimal units के हिसाब से 1 Mbps × 86,400 सेकंड ÷ 8 bits प्रति byte = लगभग 10.8 GB प्रतिदिन; 30 दिन में लगभग 324 GB। ये गणितीय अनुमान हैं, किसी ISP के प्रकाशित आँकड़े नहीं।

यह अनुमान कुल bitrate पर आधारित है, यानी audio सहित। अपने ISP से plan की fair-use limit, data policy और लगातार उपयोग के नियम जाँचें। भारत में upload speed और मासिक सीमा ISP, plan और स्थान के अनुसार बदल सकती है; कोई एक राष्ट्रीय मान सभी पर लागू नहीं होता।
OBS और YouTube की जरूरी settings
OBS में bitrate और output सेट करें
OBS में Settings → Output खोलकर streaming video bitrate तय करें। Settings → Video में output (scaled) resolution और FPS देखें। OBS के संस्करण के अनुसार label या layout थोड़ा बदल सकता है। कम upload पर resolution या FPS घटाना, बिना स्थिरता जाँचे ऊँची गुणवत्ता पर अड़े रहने से बेहतर है।

YouTube ingest, rate control और keyframes
YouTube Live Control Room में encoder stream बनाएँ और वहाँ दिया stream URL तथा stream key OBS के Stream settings में configure करें। YouTube RTMP/RTMPS ingest बताता है और RTMPS की अनुशंसा करता है। Encoder के लिए CBR और 2-second keyframe frequency रखें; keyframe interval 4 seconds से अधिक न हो। YouTube की encoder setup जानकारी: Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder।
Stream key को सुरक्षित रखें
Stream key को password की तरह निजी रखें—इसे public screenshot, chat या साझा setup में न दिखाएँ। यदि key उजागर हो जाए, YouTube Studio में उसे reset करें और OBS में नया key डालें। Stream URL, key और live stream settings के लिए: Manage live stream settings।

सीमित ब्रॉडबैंड पर 24/7 stream सेट करने के चरण
- स्थिर upload मापें: संभव हो तो PC को router से Ethernet cable द्वारा जोड़ें। अलग-अलग समय पर test करें; एक परिणाम को रातभर की क्षमता न मानें। दूसरे uploads और downloads रोककर मापें।
- Bitrate budget तय करें: स्थिर upload के लगभग 80% को कुल stream bitrate की ऊपरी सीमा मानें। इसमें video और audio दोनों आते हैं; बाकी network traffic के लिए भी जगह छोड़ें।
- YouTube stream बनाएँ: Live Control Room में encoder stream सेट करें। OBS में YouTube service या server विवरण, stream URL और stream key भरें। key गोपनीय रखें।
- OBS output चुनें: Settings → Output में bitrate और Settings → Video में resolution तथा FPS सेट करें। H.264 के लिए YouTube की उपयुक्त तालिका देखें; CBR और 2-second keyframes रखें।
- असल सामग्री से test करें: वास्तविक audio और सामान्य गति वाले दृश्य चलाकर YouTube preview तथा stream health देखें। OBS के dropped-frame संकेतक पर भी नज़र रखें। केवल स्थिर चित्र से किया test तेज गति वाले वीडियो के व्यवहार का पूरा प्रतिनिधित्व नहीं करता।
- समस्या पर एक बदलाव करें: dropped frames या अस्थिरता होने पर bitrate घटाएँ; जरूरत हो तो FPS या resolution भी घटाकर फिर test करें। OBS troubleshooting 75% of total upload speed को एक अच्छा starting point बताती है, जबकि YouTube लगभग 20% headroom कहता है। दोनों मार्गदर्शन हैं, performance guarantee नहीं।
- Connection सुधारें: Wi‑Fi अस्थिर लगे तो router के पास Ethernet से test करें। Wired connection Wi‑Fi की समस्या घटा सकता है, लेकिन ISP की upload क्षमता या provider congestion नहीं बदलता।

OBS से 24/7 चलाने का अर्थ है कि encoder और नेटवर्क लगातार stream भेजते रहें। आधिकारिक bitrate guidance भारतीय broadband पर बिना रुकावट चलने की गारंटी नहीं देती। Network interruption stream को तोड़ सकता है; बिजली, PC stability, ISP reliability, reconnect behavior और निगरानी अलग operational मुद्दे हैं। अपने setup का लंबा test करें और यह मानकर न चलें कि एक बार live होने के बाद stream हर हाल में जारी रहेगी।
