You can keep a nature ambience video live on YouTube by sending a repeating video-and-audio feed from a computer or hardware encoder to YouTube Live over Airtel Xstream Fiber. Before building the setup, check your channel’s live-stream eligibility and your connection’s actual sustained upload speed. Neither an advertised Airtel plan speed nor YouTube’s setup guidance guarantees an uninterrupted 24/7 broadcast.
Check YouTube eligibility before you set up
YouTube requires the channel to be verified, to have no live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days, and for the creator to be at least 16 years old. Enable live streaming in advance: first-time activation can take up to 24 hours, so it may not be available immediately when you want to launch.
Use YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room to create or schedule an encoder stream. YouTube supplies a stream URL and stream key for the encoder. Treat the key like a password: anyone who obtains it may be able to send a feed to your live event. Do not show it on screen or share it publicly.
Check Airtel’s real upload capacity at the encoder
Test upload speed from the same device and connection you plan to use for streaming, ideally at the time and in the room where the broadcast will run. A plan’s headline speed is not a measurement of your sustained upstream performance. YouTube’s guidance is that the stream’s total bitrate must remain below the available upload bandwidth; it recommends leaving 20% headroom. Choose settings that fit the connection under realistic conditions rather than aiming at its best brief speed-test result.

Airtel advertises Xstream Fiber plan tiers including up to 40 Mbps, 100 Mbps, 300 Mbps and 1 Gbps, with availability varying by plan and location. Those advertised tiers do not establish the upload speed you will get. Airtel’s published terms describe a 3333 GB fair-usage threshold in a billing cycle, after which speed is reduced to 1 Mbps; the terms also reserve the ability to amend the fair-usage policy. “Unlimited” should not be read as a guarantee of unlimited full-speed use. Confirm the current terms for your specific subscription, since regional, historical or customer-specific plans may differ.
The sources available for this guide do not establish your sustained upload rate, evening performance, service-level uptime or how outbound streaming data is counted for your particular contract. Do not infer those details from the plan listing. If your test is inconsistent, lower the stream bitrate or resolve the local connection issue before committing to a long broadcast.

Prepare a video source that can repeat
YouTube Live is the destination; a software or hardware encoder sends it the live feed. Choose an encoder that supports YouTube’s ingest requirements and can repeat the selected media source. Configure the nature video and its audio to loop in that encoder or its media-source settings. The loop control is encoder-specific; it is not a universal YouTube Live setting.
- Use footage and audio you have the right to stream. A peaceful landscape does not make a soundtrack or video clip copyright-free.
- Check that the end of the video joins cleanly to the beginning and that the audio does not cut abruptly or become silent between repetitions.
- Confirm the encoder can continue after a dropped internet connection and can show stream-health information. Do not assume every encoder reconnects or loops in the same way.
- Decide whether you need a separate local recording. A live stream and an archived recording are not the same thing.
Configure the encoder and YouTube event
- Create the event: In YouTube Studio, open the Live Control Room and create or schedule an encoder stream. Copy the stream URL and stream key shown for that event.
- Enter the ingest details: In the encoder’s YouTube or custom ingest settings, paste the stream URL and key. Keep the key private. Confirm the selected ingest protocol is one supported by both YouTube and your encoder.
- Select video and audio: Set the resolution and frame rate to match the source and what your tested connection can sustain. YouTube automatically transcodes live streams for different viewer formats, but that does not remove the need to send a stable feed to YouTube.
- Set bitrate and rate control: Keep the combined video and audio bitrate within the upload capacity you measured, leaving YouTube’s recommended 20% headroom. YouTube recommends constant bitrate (CBR) for streaming.
- Set keyframes: Use a keyframe interval of about two seconds; YouTube’s guidance says not to exceed four seconds.
- Enable looping: Select the repeat or loop option for the media source in your encoder. Verify the setting applies to the actual video source being sent, not merely to a local playlist preview.
- Start a test feed: Start the encoder and wait for the Live Control Room preview and stream-health indicators. Check the picture, sound, correct event, and whether the source returns to its beginning as expected.
YouTube recommends testing with representative video and audio before an event. A short test is useful for checking configuration, but it cannot establish that the encoder, internet connection and services will remain available indefinitely.

Verify playback and plan for monitoring
- Open the public or unlisted watch page and confirm that the live picture and audio play there, not only in the encoder preview.
- Check playback on a mobile device as well as the computer used for setup. Listen for clipping, unexpectedly loud sections, silence and loop transitions.
- Watch the Live Control Room’s stream health and the encoder’s dropped-frame or connection indicators. Have someone or a monitoring routine able to notice a problem and restart or repair the feed.
- If practical, connect the encoder to the router by Ethernet. YouTube says a wired connection may help; it is optional and does not guarantee stability.
- Plan for power loss, a router or internet outage, encoder failure and a YouTube-side interruption. Continuous operation depends on all of these components; YouTube’s setup and monitoring guidance is not an end-to-end uptime guarantee.
Protect the broadcast from copyright interruptions
YouTube scans live content for third-party matches. If it detects content that belongs to someone else, it may warn you, interrupt the broadcast or terminate it. This can apply to music, ambient sound recordings, stock footage and clips even when they seem unobtrusive. Use original material or material licensed for this use, and retain records of permissions.
A license alone may not prevent an interruption: YouTube’s guidance notes that a rights holder may need to allowlist your channel through Content ID. If a stream is interrupted despite permission, contact the rights holder about allowlisting and follow the notice in YouTube Studio. Do not assume that a claim will be resolved while the live broadcast continues.

Do not rely on a 24-hour live session as your archive
YouTube’s encoder instructions say streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. The cited guidance does not promise a complete archive for one uninterrupted 24/7 broadcast. If you need a durable copy, arrange a separate local recording or another recording workflow and check that it has enough storage and can run alongside the encoder. For an archive on YouTube, plan around the documented under-12-hour guidance rather than assuming a full-day session will be saved intact.
