To broadcast a Bengali podcast archive on YouTube Live around the clock, prepare a rights-cleared playlist and send it to YouTube through an encoder running on a computer or a cloud playout service. YouTube supplies the stream URL and key; the playout system supplies the continuous program. Plan for interruptions and keep a local recording: YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived, while streams exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all.
1. Prepare a Bengali podcast playlist and clear its rights
Choose episodes and playback order
Select episodes you have the right to rebroadcast, then arrange them in the order you want listeners to hear them. Decide whether the episodes should repeat in sequence or shuffle. A brief title card or slate identifying the channel and explaining that these are archived episodes can help orient viewers; it is an editorial choice, not a YouTube requirement.
Audit everything inside each episode
A podcast recording does not necessarily give you rights to every element it contains. Check music beds and theme songs, guest voices and permissions, clips, artwork, and other inserted material. YouTube’s livestream terms and conditions say creators must have the necessary rights for live content on Google services, including music licensing rights. YouTube also scans live streams for third-party content; a license alone may not prevent interruption if the rights holder has not allowlisted your channel in Content ID. Do not assume that owning the podcast recording or having permission to distribute its audio feed clears every embedded component for a YouTube live rebroadcast.

2. Choose how the archive will stay on air
Run a local encoder
A computer-based setup gives you direct control over the encoder and program, but continuity depends on the computer, power, software, and internet connection staying available. YouTube documents how to connect an encoder, but its cited guidance does not provide a native procedure for looping a prerecorded playlist indefinitely. You need a separate playlist or playout setup.
Use cloud playout

As another example of the service category, Upstream documents a cloud 24/7 playout workflow with uploaded content, playlists, and continuous looping. Its FAQ states that its free plan provides 24 streaming hours monthly and that a channel running all month needs a paid plan with unlimited streaming hours. Those are vendor statements that may change; check current terms before choosing a service. The cited pages do not establish a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or YouTube monetization.
Schedule shorter broadcasts if YouTube replays matter
If you want separate YouTube replays, consider ending and restarting scheduled sessions before they reach 12 hours. YouTube says it can automatically archive a live stream if it is less than 12 hours, and warns that a stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. This is not a promise that every shorter session will archive successfully, so keep a local backup. Read YouTube’s archive guidance.

3. Enable live streaming and connect the encoder
Check channel eligibility and enable live
- Verify the YouTube channel and confirm it has no live-streaming restrictions in the past 90 days. YouTube says first-time live-stream enablement can take up to 24 hours.
- In YouTube Studio, open the Live Control Room and create or schedule an encoder stream. YouTube’s walkthrough is Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder.
- Copy the stream URL and stream key from the stream setup into your encoder’s streaming settings. Treat the key like a password: anyone with it may be able to send content to your channel. Reset it if it is exposed.
Use compatible encoder settings
YouTube recommends RTMPS, constant bitrate, and a two-second keyframe interval, not exceeding four seconds. For RTMP/RTMPS, its guidance lists H.264, H.265/HEVC, and AV1 video codecs, and AAC or MP3 audio. See YouTube’s encoder settings, bitrates, and resolutions.
For a podcast with a static image or gentle visual, choose a resolution and bitrate the encoder and connection can sustain; a higher resolution is not automatically necessary for an audio-led program. YouTube’s live stream settings also document privacy, DVR, and auto-start/auto-stop controls for applicable streams. Configure them to match whether the broadcast should be public and whether you intend to manage starts and stops yourself.

4. Test the broadcast and keep it healthy
Before going live
- Set up the encoder stream ahead of the intended broadcast and preview it in the Live Control Room.
- Check that local recording files are growing, and confirm the live stream is visible from the channel and watch page, including on a mobile device.
- Listen for clean, continuous audio and check that the visual is playing as intended.
- Leave about 20% upload-bandwidth headroom above the total streaming bitrate, as recommended in YouTube’s live streaming tips.
During a 24/7 run
Monitor audio and video, including whether playback has gone silent or become stuck. Also check for playlist exhaustion, encoder restarts, power interruptions, and internet failures. A continuous stream still needs someone—or a service recovery process—to detect and respond to faults. Keep a local recording if you need a preservation copy; YouTube recommends a local archive backup.
