What StreamVoodoo documents
StreamVoodoo describes its core use as connecting multiple live video feeds in a browser. For playback with audio, its FAQ says to use “a virtual camera from OBS or an NDI output.” That is an input route: playback is handled by a source outside StreamVoodoo and sent into a room. If you want a clip to play in a StreamVoodoo room
- Choose a playback source. Open the clip in a player you can access on the computer or setup feeding the room.
- Route its picture into StreamVoodoo. Use an OBS virtual camera or configure an NDI output, the input methods named in StreamVoodoo’s FAQ.
- Route and check audio separately. The FAQ names playback with audio but does not give audio-routing settings. Confirm that the room receives both picture and sound in your actual setup.
- Set repeat at the playback source. StreamVoodoo’s FAQ does not specify loop settings, so configure repeat in the player and check that it continues as expected. This is a practical inference from the documented input route, not a StreamVoodoo-confirmed loop feature.
This documented route does not establish that the video avoids every upload or transfer. If avoiding a new upload is essential, confirm how your specific source and routing setup handles the media before relying on it.

What is and is not established

- Not established in the FAQ: a native repeat button, importing a hosted video URL into a room, or a promise that the playback route avoids every upload or transfer. Treat claims that StreamVoodoo itself loops stored files as unverified unless its current documentation or support confirms them.
Check content rights before playing or broadcasting a clip
StreamVoodoo’s available Terms of Service page is marked legacy and gives an effective date of December 14, 2022. It says users are responsible for their content and for obtaining needed third-party permissions, and prohibits transmitting material that may infringe others’ rights. If by “loop” you mean an always-on YouTube broadcast assembled from prerecorded videos, that is a different workflow from sending playback into a StreamVoodoo room.
