How Electro Rover’s rotation works
The rotation has two distinct parts: building Electric Surge to unlock an enhanced Resonance Skill, then choosing a team-support effect or an Apex Resonance follow-through. Resonance Liberation, Ultimate Tactics, is a separate Electro-damage ability; the cited skill descriptions do not make it a prerequisite for either Overshock choice.
Build Electric Surge
Normal Attacks and Resonance Skill restore Electric Surge when they hit. At maximum Electric Surge, Resonance Skill Overshock becomes available. There is no universal attack count established for reaching the threshold, so follow the resource gauge rather than a fixed combo count. Character reference
Use Resonance Liberation when it fits
Ultimate Tactics deals Electro damage. Use it when Resonance Energy is available and its burst suits the current damage window; the available descriptions do not establish a mandatory order between Liberation and building Electric Surge. Character reference

Choose what to do with full Electric Surge
At full Electric Surge, Overshock offers a choice. The input determines whether Rover takes the support route or opens the Apex sequence.
Tap Overshock for the team ATK effect
Tapping Overshock clears Electric Surge and grants a team ATK bonus, according to the character reference. WuWaBuild reports the effect as 20% ATK for 30 seconds, but that is a secondary guide’s value; check the live in-game skill description for the current version before relying on the number. Hold Overshock to enter Apex Resonance
Holding Overshock enters Apex Resonance and unlocks Thrum of All Sounds. This route is for continuing Rover’s Forte sequence rather than taking the tap effect. Character reference
Continue the Apex Resonance sequence
While Apex Resonance is active, use Thrum of All Sounds to chain Rover attribute skills. Ground and airborne inputs provide different chains; the damage follows the attribute of the chained skill, and the move also triggers Thunder Bane, which deals Electro damage. Choose the input that matches the situation and the intended Rover attribute rather than assuming one state is always better. Character reference

Thunder Rage governs how much follow-through is available: entering Apex Resonance restores it, and Thrum of All Sounds consumes it and restores it on hit. Know when to hand off to a teammate
Forte actions and team handoffs are separate mechanics. A version 3.6 rotation guide says that swapping at 100 Concerto Energy triggers the outgoing character’s Outro Skill and the incoming character’s Intro Skill. If Rover’s current Forte sequence needs follow-through, complete the desired action before switching. This describes the guide’s version 3.6 rule; check current in-game behavior after updates. - Land Normal Attacks and Resonance Skill hits to build Electric Surge.
- Use Ultimate Tactics when Resonance Energy is ready and the burst fits the damage window.
- At maximum Electric Surge, tap Overshock for its described team ATK effect, or hold it to enter Apex Resonance.
- If you entered Apex Resonance, use Thrum of All Sounds and select its ground or airborne chain for the situation, monitoring Thunder Rage as you continue.
- Before a team handoff at full Concerto Energy, finish any Rover Forte action whose follow-through matters.
This framework follows the ability descriptions and the cited version 3.6 rotation guide; it is not a tested optimal rotation for every team, enemy, build, or execution.
