Can you still get the Kilo 141 right away?
The original fast route is no longer available: Activision’s Return to Verdansk event ran April 3–15, 2025. Players who logged in to Warzone after the Season 03 launch could unlock the rifle for use in both Warzone and Black Ops 6. During the 24-hour pre-launch window, Activision also said players could download Warzone’s game files and click the updated game tile to unlock it. Activision’s Season 03 launch announcement and its Return to Verdansk announcement describe those routes and dates.
Xbox Wire also characterized the Kilo 141 as a Warzone download-and-launch reward, distinct from the CR-56 AMAX and HDR, which were Battle Pass rewards. Xbox Wire’s Season 03 overview corroborates that distinction.
How to unlock the Kilo 141 if you missed the event
- Open the Armory in your live game. Look for the Kilo 141 and select its unlock challenge. Activision said the rifle would be available through an Armory unlock during Season 03, but its official announcement does not establish today’s exact menu path or challenge requirement.
- Check the challenge displayed in-game. A community-maintained Call of Duty Wiki reports a requirement of 250,000 XP with the weapon selected, but that figure is not confirmed by current official documentation. Treat the live challenge shown in your game as authoritative rather than relying on that reported total. Call of Duty Wiki’s Kilo 141 page is the source for the community-reported figure.
- Complete the displayed requirement. The Armory route is in-game progression, not a purchase. The exact current progress rules depend on the challenge shown in your game.
GameSpot’s contemporary guide also anticipated an Armory challenge for players who missed the event, but it was written around the 2025 launch rather than as confirmation of the current 2026 menu or requirement. GameSpot’s Kilo 141 unlock guide provides that historical context.

Activision’s 2025 reward announcement said the Kilo 141 would be available for use in both Black Ops 6 and Warzone. The unlock was tied to Warzone’s launch activity, but its stated availability covered both games. This describes the Season 03 reward; check the live Armory and weapon availability in your installed game for current details.

No paid pass was required for the Kilo 141’s original Warzone reward, and the later route described by Activision was an Armory unlock.
