What is the Courier’s Rasher?
It is a quest item described as fatty meat that can spoil if it is not stored properly. Mergwin requests it as one ingredient in The Great Taste of Pharloom. The walkthrough mechanics and route advice below come from third-party guides last updated in 2025; behavior may differ if later game patches changed the quest.
How to unlock and collect the rasher
- Complete the My Missing Courier wish.
- Complete the My Missing Brother wish.
- Go to Tipp and Pill in Bellhart and collect the Courier’s Rasher.
Loyal Mergwin, who gives The Great Taste of Pharloom, is in the Choral Chambers. The two wishes are the reported prerequisites for getting the rasher from Tipp and Pill.
How to deliver it safely
Carry the rasher from Bellhart to Mergwin in the Choral Chambers. Guides describe a timer and warn that damage or fast travel can ruin the delivery. They do not agree on a precise time allowance or hit count, so plan for a clean trip rather than relying on a numeric limit.

Prepare your route and movement
- Consider waiting until you have Clawline and Faydown Cloak, which provides double jump, to improve movement across the route. These are guide recommendations, not established quest prerequisites.
- Game8 also recommends Compass for navigation and Silkspeed Anklets for movement. Treat these as optional aids rather than required equipment.
- Choose a route suited to your current abilities and progress. There is no single best route established for every player; weigh travel time and enemy exposure against the risk of taking damage, and avoid fast-travel systems during the delivery.
- Nintendo Life recommends leaving this delivery until last among Mergwin’s ingredients, so you can make the trip after obtaining useful movement abilities.
Complete the handoff
- With the rasher collected, travel from Bellhart toward the Choral Chambers without fast traveling.
- Avoid enemies where practical and take care not to get hit while carrying it.
- Reach Loyal Mergwin and hand over the rasher to count it toward The Great Taste of Pharloom.

The Courier’s Rasher is one of five ingredients Mergwin requests. Nintendo Life reports that delivering all five earns Pale Oil.
