Sarah’s outcomes: which should you choose?

The walkthrough evidence does not establish a gameplay reward, achievement, or universal moral advantage for either choice. Treat it as a preference about Sarah’s later circumstances and whether you want access to optional content.

Does Sarah’s choice affect the main story?
No. “Novigrad Dreaming” is a main quest in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and Corrine’s dream gives Geralt a lead connecting Dandelion to Ciri in Novigrad. The guides describe that lead separately from Sarah’s fate: letting her stay is not required to get it, and expelling her does not replace it. The quest reference and IGN’s walkthrough cover the quest and its progression.
How to make the choice in “Novigrad Dreaming”
- Investigate the house associated with the nightmares as part of the main quest. There, Geralt meets oneiromancer Corrine Tilly and discovers Sarah, a godling living in the house.
- When the quest presents the decision about Sarah remaining in the house, choose to let her stay to preserve access to “Haunted House,” or expel her to get the route where she later meets Johnny.
