CAVE’s official Steam listing mentions assist features for new and returning players, but does not identify them as bullet-visibility controls. Until an official manual or current build confirms specific options, there is no reliable menu path to recommend. You can still use documented display and practice features, with important limits.
What the game’s assist features do—and don’t confirm
CAVE describes DoDonPachi Resurrection Reignite as a bullet-hell shooter and says its Steam version includes assist features for new and returning challengers. The listing does not name those features or say that any one of them improves bullet readability. See CAVE’s Steam listing.

That means you should not assume an assist toggle changes bullet color, opacity, contrast, backgrounds, or effects. The official material reviewed does not provide confirmed visual-control labels or menu locations, so unsupported step-by-step directions would be misleading.
Display adjustment: resize the window carefully
A September 6, 2026 patch note documents freely resizable window mode. This lets you adjust the game window’s size, but the note does not claim resizing changes the rendered bullets’ contrast. It also warns that making the window wider along the X axis than the Y axis can stretch the image horizontally. Treat resizing as a display-size adjustment, not a bullet filter, and avoid an unusually wide aspect if it distorts the image.

The patch note is part of CAVE producer Kotani’s official announcement, which also describes the planned Training Mode: CAVE’s official producer announcement.
Training Mode: useful practice, not a confirmed visibility option
The announcement said Training Mode was planned for October 2026. It described choosing a stage—including AREA6—and freely adjusting ship settings to practice at your own pace and work on particular sections. It did not say those ship settings affect bullet appearance. Because the announcement describes a plan rather than proving the feature shipped, check the live build for its availability and exact controls before relying on it.
If available, stage selection and focused practice can help you learn a difficult section without replaying earlier stages. That is a way to build familiarity with patterns, not evidence of a setting that makes bullets visually clearer.

What to check if you are exploring the menus
If you find a visual control in your current build or a later official manual, assess what it actually changes before treating it as a readability aid:
