As of October 4, 2026, Evan Bouchard had 338 regular-season points in 430 NHL games. His completed 2025–26 season produced 95 points (21 goals, 74 assists) in 82 games. These are regular-season figures; playoff statistics are separate, and NHL.com’s live totals can change as the 2026–27 season continues.
Evan Bouchard’s current NHL stats
NHL.com’s player statistics page listed the following regular-season totals on October 4, 2026. Its 2026–27 row already included one game, so career totals reflect the season in progress at that snapshot.
| Stat line | Games | Goals | Assists | Points |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2025–26 regular season | 82 | 21 | 74 | 95 |
| Career regular season, through the 2026–27 season’s first game | 430 | 79 | 259 | 338 |
| 2026–27 regular season, one game at the snapshot | 1 | 3 | 2 | 5 |
These figures are a dated snapshot, not a live guarantee. For updated totals, use NHL.com’s Bouchard statistics and game log and note the date and game type shown.
Records and milestones
Five-point season opener
In the 2026–27 season opener, Bouchard recorded five points, including three goals. NHL.com reported that he became the first defenseman in NHL history to have a five-point game in a season opener, and the first to score three goals in one since Mark Howe did so for the Hartford Whalers to start 1980–81. This is a league-wide milestone, not an Oilers franchise record. See NHL.com’s coverage of the season-opening performance.

Oilers career-point milestone
The Edmonton Oilers’ 2025–26 media guide records Bouchard as the fifth defenseman in franchise history to reach 250 career points and the second-fastest to do so. It also notes that his 400th NHL game featured three goals and three assists, giving him his first career hat trick. Those are team-guide milestones; consult the Oilers 2025–26 player notes and media guide for its stated context.
Keep regular-season and playoff stats separate
A regular-season career total does not include postseason production. NHL.com’s July 1, 2025 contract article gave a dated snapshot of 238 regular-season points (55 goals, 183 assists) in 347 games and 81 playoff points (20 goals, 61 assists) in 75 games. Later NHL.com coverage cited 88 playoff points in 81 games. These are snapshots from different publication dates, so they should not be treated as simultaneous totals. Use NHL.com’s game-type views and the Oilers’ official playoff skater records when checking postseason numbers.

How to track Bouchard’s progress
- Open the NHL.com player statistics page: Bouchard statistics and game log.
- Choose the same game type and season range each time you compare figures. Do not add playoff production to regular-season totals unless you label the result as a combined total.
- Record a consistent set of measures: games played, goals, assists, points, points per game, power-play goals and points, plus/minus, shots, and average time on ice. The page and its game log help distinguish season totals from an individual performance.
- Use the right source for a record claim. NHL.com coverage supports league-wide milestones; the Oilers media guide and official team records support franchise milestones. A league record is not automatically an Oilers record, or vice versa.
- Put the retrieval date beside current totals. Live statistics change during the season. When explaining a rise or dip, check games played and the game log as well as points.
What the numbers can—and cannot—show
Goals, assists, points, and points per game describe offensive production and scoring pace. Power-play output adds special-teams context; games played helps put totals in perspective. Shots, plus/minus, and time on ice provide additional context, but points alone do not measure a defenseman’s full defensive performance. When comparing seasons or players, match the game type and season range, then compare the same measures; specify whether the comparison is league-wide, among defensemen, or within the Oilers franchise.
