In Arc Raiders, the communications device for Shani’s With A Trace quest is a small yellow computer on a ground-level table or workstation beside the large wreck at Adorned Wreckage on Blue Gate. You do not need to climb the wreck: look around its more open southern side, approach the terminal until the interaction prompt appears, then interact with it.

Track With A Trace, which Shani gives you in Speranza. The Blue Gate quest asks you to reach Barren Clearing, investigate evidence near the downed ARC machines, visit Adorned Wreckage, and inspect the communications device. Quest overview

Spot the communications device
Look beside the large wreck covered with antennas and cables, especially around the more open southern side of the area. The target is a small yellow computer or terminal sitting on a table or makeshift workstation at ground level.
