At launch, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 had 16 standard 6v6 multiplayer maps and two 20v20 Skirmish maps. Nuketown 2025 joined during Preseason, and later seasons added new and returning maps. Below is the named roster confirmed through Season 06 announcements available on October 4, 2026; it is not a complete inventory of every current playlist or limited-time map variant.
Launch maps
The 16-map launch roster was for standard 6v6 multiplayer. Three of those maps—Express, Hijacked, and Raid—return from Black Ops 2. The separate 20v20 Skirmish format launched with two maps.
| Format | Maps available at launch |
|---|---|
| 6v6 | Blackheart, Cortex, Exposure, Imprint, The Forge, Toshin, Colossus, Den, Flagship, Homestead, Paranoia, Retrieval, Scar, Express, Hijacked, Raid |
| 20v20 Skirmish | Hightown, Military Island |
Activision’s launch roster distinguishes the 16 signature 6v6 maps from the two larger-scale Skirmish maps.
Preseason: Nuketown 2025
Nuketown 2025 arrived on November 20, 2025, six days after the November 14 launch. It is an additional standard multiplayer map, not one of the original 16. With Nuketown 2025 included, the official Preseason guide described 19 maps before Season 01 when counting the 16 launch 6v6 maps, two Skirmish maps, and Nuketown 2025.

Season 05 and Season 06 named maps
Retrieved Season 05 coverage names Jubilee, Dig, and Frequency; Dig and Frequency are described as remastered maps. A September 10, 2026 Season 06 trailer listing names Quantum and Bloodstead. That listing also refers to additional maps for the limited-time T.E.D.D. Trials mode without naming the complete set.
| Season | Named maps and notes |
|---|---|
| Season 05 | Jubilee; Dig and Frequency (described as remastered) |
| Season 06 | Quantum, Bloodstead; additional unnamed T.E.D.D. Trials maps |
The official Season 05 page and complete Season 06 Trials map set are not established by the available named announcements, so a definitive current total cannot be given from these lists.
How to read the BO7 map list
- 6v6 and 2v2: Standard multiplayer maps; some support both formats, as Season 04 guidance specifies for Liminal and Zenith.
- 20v20 Skirmish: A distinct large-scale format. Its named maps include Hightown and Military Island at launch, followed by Mission: Peak and Mission: Trident.
- Returning or remastered: Express, Hijacked, and Raid return from Black Ops 2; Season 05 coverage describes Dig and Frequency as remastered.
- Variants and special-purpose maps: Vault Town and Sleighjacked are themed variants; Ascent is for Freerun rather than the ordinary multiplayer map roster.
For the named additions, see the official Season 01, Season 02, Season 03, and Season 04 map announcements.
