Yes—Verizon lists PlayStation 5 consoles and bundles for sale. That does not mean it is giving away PS5s or running a PS5-specific promotion. Check the exact product listing for price and availability, and verify any claimed deal in My Verizon before assuming it is free or discounted.
What does Verizon actually offer?
Verizon’s Sony catalog has listed PS5 products such as a PS5 Slim, PS5 Pro, and console bundles, as well as accessories including DualSense controllers and PlayStation Portal. Catalog listings and inventory can change, so check the page for the exact model, bundle contents, displayed price, and shipping or pickup availability in your area.
A console in a retail catalog is a product for sale—not evidence of a giveaway, a discount, or a deal tied to a wireless plan. Verizon’s promotions FAQ explains general offer rules, but the official materials do not establish a current PS5-specific promotion.
Does Verizon give away PS5s?
No active PS5 giveaway was confirmed in the official information available here. Verizon says promotions can change, have varying requirements, and may be limited by supply. A social post or headline promising a “free PS5” is not enough to establish that the offer is real or that you qualify.

Is a PS5 free, or is it a bill-credit deal?
Some Verizon promotions use monthly bill credits rather than reducing the price upfront. Credits may depend on keeping an eligible account, plan, or device-payment arrangement for the required term; changing or ending an eligible arrangement can affect them. The exact promotion’s terms control, so do not treat “free” or an advertised credit as cash off at checkout without checking how the offer is applied.
How to check whether an offer is real and whether you qualify
- Open Verizon’s Sony catalog. Find the exact PS5 model or bundle and confirm its current price, included items, and local shipping or pickup availability.
- Check My Verizon. Verizon says customers can view special offers in their account. Open the specific offer rather than relying on a general promotion page or an outside post.
- Read the offer’s own terms. Check whether it requires a qualifying plan, a new line, device payments, or continued service for a stated period. Note the credit schedule and what happens if you cancel, change plans, or otherwise stop meeting the conditions.
- Compare the full cost. Include any required service-plan cost over the offer period, upfront payment, recurring device payments and credits, and the exact console or bundle. Confirm inventory before deciding.
Verizon’s general FAQ describes how promotions may work; it does not establish the requirements of a particular PS5 offer. If an offer appears in your account, use that offer’s terms to determine eligibility and total cost.

Is Verizon Shine a place to find a PS5?
Shine is another place to check for account-related offers. Verizon describes it as a program with changing offers that can include merchandise, offers from third-party providers, and sweepstakes. Its Shine FAQs and Shine terms do not confirm that a PS5 is currently available as a prize or reward. Check the current listing and its terms rather than assuming a console is included.
