Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteThis spoiler-aware walkthrough follows Dan Russell-Pinson’s point-and-click adventure Tipping Point from the opening television puzzle through its final airlock. The key to the channel 804 puzzle is to set the pocket watch to 11:15 and press its top button to reveal coordinates; later chapters reward careful scene exploration, inventory use, and observation.
Chapter 1: Activate channel 804 and reveal the coordinates
- Take the remote and turn on the television. Use the channel-up control to reach channel 8. The bird carrying a pocket watch is your next clue.
- Distract the bird with a potato chip. Inspect the pocket watch it leaves behind, then open the image or invitation clue. It points to channel 804.
- Activate channel 804 by phone. Use the phone beside the player to call the activation number shown in the game. Follow the automated prompts, then confirm the activation.
- Set the watch to the destination time. When the television gives the destination as 11:15, adjust the watch hands to 11:15 and press the button at the top of the watch. This reveals coordinates; do not enter 11:15 as the remote code.
- Enter the coordinates with the remote. The walkthrough’s playthrough records 105-40. Enter the coordinates revealed by your watch and confirm.
The sequence behind the common question “What do I do once I’m on channel 804 and it says destination 11:15?” is therefore: set the watch, press its top button, then enter the revealed coordinates. The 105-40 value is the walkthrough’s reported playthrough, not a substitute for the watch step.
Chapter 2: Search the beach and boat
Explore the hut and boat to find a battery and shovel. Power the metal detector with the battery before sweeping the sand; use the shovel to dig up the key it locates. Take that key to the locked box aboard the boat. Inspect the magnifying glass and code sheet you recover, then use those clues on the objects or parts of the scene where they apply. If the detector does not help, check that it has power before searching again.
Chapter 3: Work through the rainforest scenes
Near the start of the rainforest section, note the stairway, ladder, and stump to the left. In the beetle-and-spider-web puzzle, observe the beetle’s movement and use timing to redirect it. Continue exploring the treehouse and windy area, collecting objects and ingredients that can help Tommy. Inspect new inventory items and revisit scene details when you acquire something that may change how they can be used.

Chapter 4: Restore cabin power and solve the bridge puzzle
Restore power before using the switchboard
- Take the green fuse from outside the cabin.
- Go inside and take the red fuse.
- Open the fuse box, place each fuse in its matching position, and turn on the switch.
- Return inside and use the switchboard.
The cabin switchboard is not usable until both fuses are installed and power is restored.
Retrieve the kettle at the bridge
Use the fishing line to hook the kettle. Adjust the line’s reach if necessary; if the hook misses, try reeling again after changing the reach. Open the kettle to find a number clue, then enter its numbers on the switchboard using the available switch numbers as described by the game’s puzzle.

Read the aircraft’s Morse signal
At the greenhouse puzzle, consult the code sheet and watch the aircraft’s lights. A quick flash represents a dot; a steady flash represents a dash. Match the signal you actually observe to the response indicated on the sheet. The reported pattern varies, so there is no single fixed sequence to copy.
Chapter 5: Reach the ending and solve the airlock
The final chapter moves through later locations and key-based puzzles toward an airlock. Use clues from the monitors to arrange a route that lets the silver key reach the required keys and the exit. A walkthrough-era account reports that a glitch could trigger the airlock early in some playthroughs; that report does not establish that the behavior occurs in every release.

Game editions and release context
In a 2013 announcement, creator Dan Russell-Pinson wrote: “The full version of Tipping Point for iPad includes all 5 chapters of the game as well as an epilogue.” The same announcement described an in-game hint system and support for up to five player profiles. It also listed 55 photorealistic screens, almost 400 unique sound effects, and 12 original music compositions; these are creator-published feature counts, not independent measurements. Read Russell-Pinson’s 2013 announcement.
Russell-Pinson’s series archive records an April 2019 announcement of a PC and Mac Steam release, described at the time as the best version then available. That historical announcement does not establish current storefront availability, price, or compatibility. See the creator’s Tipping Point series archive.
The early chapter sequence and walkthrough-era player comment are documented by Jay Is Games’ Tipping Point walkthrough and review. Chapter 4 cabin and bridge steps are covered by Extra Chutney’s Chapter 4 walkthrough; its explanation of the aircraft puzzle is here. The channel 804 sequence and 11:15 question appear in Jay Is Games’ early walkthrough and a reader comment on that page.
