In Pokémon Legends: Z-A, Delphoxite originally came from Ranked Battles Season 2: players who reached Rank S during that season received the Mega Stone. It is not normally found through regular gameplay, and the available official information does not confirm the rank requirement or timing for a later rerun. How to get Delphoxite in Pokémon Legends: Z-A
Delphoxite is the Mega Stone that lets Delphox Mega Evolve into Mega Delphox. The Pokémon Company says Delphoxite cannot normally be obtained during regular gameplay, so searching Lumiose City or completing ordinary story rewards is not an established way to get it. The original distribution was through Ranked Battles Season 2.
In its September 12, 2025 announcement, The Pokémon Company said, “Greninjite, Delphoxite, and Chesnaughtite stones cannot normally be obtained during regular gameplay.” The same announcement said that “Mega Stones obtainable as promotion rewards are planned to be redistributed in future seasons.” Read The Pokémon Company’s Mega Evolution announcement.
What the original Ranked Battles reward required
The official November 2025 Season 2 announcement states that players who reached Rank S during that season received Delphoxite. That is the requirement for the original Season 2 reward, not a confirmed requirement for any later redistribution. See the official Season 2 announcement.

As of October 4, 2026, the sources available here do not establish which repeat season is active or its reward rank. Open the game’s current in-game news and confirm the season, reward, and rank threshold there before investing time in Ranked Battles.
Is Delphoxite in another location?
No other Delphoxite location in Pokémon Legends: Z-A is confirmed by the cited information. A published guide also lists it as a Battle Club Ranked Battles Season 2 reward, rather than as an item found in the city or through a separate story activity. Nintendo Life’s Mega Stone guide provides that cross-check.

Does the Pokémon Champions promotion give you Delphoxite in Z-A?
No. The separate Pokémon Champions promotion says to send a Delphox obtained in Pokémon Legends: Z-A to visit Pokémon Champions, then claim Delphoxite in Champions. The announcement does not say that this grants Delphoxite to your Z-A inventory. It also notes that the campaign stones may become available in the Champions shop or other areas of that game later.
