Each puzzle uses seven pieces to fill an outline, and more than one arrangement may work. The lotus and mountain boards have an extra wrinkle: the yellow square must be oriented correctly, so watch the placement indicator as you rotate it.
Where to find Whim Tangram
Whim Tangram was introduced as a limited-time minigame during Infinity Nikki’s New Bloom Festival. The official Version 1.2 event announcement directed players to the White Jade ship at Flora Wharf to speak with Miss Qiao He. That describes the original event setup; current availability is not established by the cited sources.
How the puzzles work
The walkthrough describes a board outline and seven Tans. Move, rotate and place the pieces until they fill the silhouette without overlapping. The guide refers to Place and Rotate controls, but labels and inputs may vary by platform. It also notes that a puzzle can have more than one valid arrangement.
The four solutions below identify each target shape. The walkthrough includes solution images for the layouts; its text does not provide grid coordinates, so use those images rather than relying on invented move-by-move coordinates.

Whim Tangram I — Boat
Fit all seven pieces inside the boat-shaped outline without overlap. The Destructoid walkthrough includes a solution image for this board.
Whim Tangram II — Kneeling lady
Arrange the seven pieces to match the kneeling-lady silhouette. Consult the walkthrough’s solution image for a documented layout.

The target is a lotus flower. Pay particular attention to the yellow square: the guide warns that its orientation matters and recommends watching the red placement indicator. Rotate the square until the indicator shows a valid placement.
Whim Tangram IV — Mountain range
Match the mountain-range silhouette. As with the lotus board, the guide flags the yellow square’s orientation as a point to check; use the red placement indicator to confirm placement.
Original event schedule and rewards
These details describe the 2025 event period, not a current schedule or reward offer. Destructoid reported that a new puzzle unlocked every two days, with the four boards arriving on the dates below. The guide listed Diamonds, Shining Particles and Bling for completion, as well as event-limited Flower Lanterns. While the event was live, it said additional Flower Lanterns could be bought from Zhuo Hua near the boat for 100 Bling. It reported that the event ended February 25, 2025.
