The community guide marks the limited-time event content as removed, so these are historical locations—not confirmed places to catch algae now.
All four Algae locations in Fisch
| Algae | Historical location |
|---|---|
| Ancient Algae | Ancient Isle |
| Mushgrove Algae | Mushgrove Swamp |
| Snowcap Algae | Snowcap Island |
| Forsaken Algae | Forsaken Shores |
These pairings are documented in the Algae Pools community guide.
Can you catch the algae now?
The Algae Pools guide labels the limited-time event content as removed, and the Ancient Algae entry says that catch is no longer available or obtainable. Those are unofficial community sources, not an official live-game notice; whether the content might return has not been established. The Fisch Wiki describes itself as community-run and unaffiliated with or endorsed by the developers or Roblox.
How the historical Algae Pools event worked
According to the community guide, pools triggered a server-wide notification and appeared every 15–30 minutes. A pool could yield one or two algae depending on player count, then despawned after its catchable algae were collected or after 15 minutes. These are historical event mechanics, not current instructions or a guarantee that a pool can be found in-game.

What Dr. Glimmerfin rewarded
Submitting any of the four algae to Dr. Glimmerfin advanced a reward sequence: Glimmerfin’s Pupil title, Glimmer bobber, Firework Rod, then Dr. Glimmerfin’s Boat, as documented by the Dr. Glimmerfin community guide. The guide also covers a later, separate quest associated with Mariana’s Veil; it is distinct from the removed Algae Event.
