The guides currently available list eight recurring YAPYAP wand categories, but they do not establish an exhaustive current-build roster. You can get the Wand of Winds free from the tree at spawn; most other listed wands are bought with 25, 35, or 50 Gold or found in chests. Some spells are described as hidden and can be revealed through the Grimoire, according to community and guide sources.
How many wands are in YAPYAP?
Eight wand categories recur across the clearest published lists: Winds, Grotesque, Minor Arcana, Fire, Illusions, Astral, Blessed, and Telekinesis. A Steam Community guide reports eight wands and 27 spells, plus four secret spells, but those are that guide author’s counts—not official game statistics. Published lists also conflict: GAMES.GG describes a Wand of Destruction awarded for quota completion, while the other full lists omit it. Treat eight as a known-list count, not a confirmed total for the current build.
The spell names and effects below reflect guide descriptions, not independently tested gameplay. Spelling and details sometimes vary between guides, so check the in-game wording where precision matters. Sources: Insider Gaming, Destructoid, and the Steam Community guide.

What is not confirmed about the current roster?
The eight-wand lists are not official current-build documentation, and the Wand of Destruction claim complicates any definitive total. GAMES.GG’s March 5, 2026 article says it is awarded for quota completion and cannot be bought or found as loot, but its roster table did not render in the retrieved page. Other consulted full lists omit it. The claim should therefore be treated as a reported possible additional wand, not a settled entry in the roster.
Spell counts and hidden interactions also differ across guides. For example, the Steam Community guide’s reported 27 spells and four secrets are its own tally, while other pages include or describe hidden interactions differently. For exact unlocks and effects, the live game and current patch notes are more authoritative than guide summaries.
