Street Fighter 6 for Windows PC is listed by Capcom as a Steam-key product, installed through the Steam client. Activation and play require an internet connection and a valid Steam account; it is not described as an offline standalone installer. Before buying, compare your PC with Capcom’s published requirements and check the storefront for your region.
How to download Street Fighter 6 on Windows PC
- Open Capcom Town Store’s Street Fighter 6 listing and confirm the product is the PC Steam key. The page is region-specific; its displayed yen price and Japan availability should not be treated as universal.
- Check the listing and your regional storefront for current availability and terms before purchasing. Capcom says the key is subject to the Steam Subscriber Agreement.
- Use the Steam client to install the game after obtaining and activating the key. Capcom’s listing says a valid Steam account and internet connection are required for activation and play.
Capcom also publishes an account-linking guide that includes Steam and uses Street Fighter 6 as its example. That guide does not establish a separate CAPCOM ID requirement for purchasing or starting the game.
Can your Windows PC run Street Fighter 6?
Capcom Town Store’s listing, accessed October 5, 2026, publishes the following requirements. They are specifications, not a guarantee of a particular frame rate on every system.

Capcom warns that frame rate may drop in graphics-intensive scenes. The listed 60 GB is not a complete allowance for future updates: the listing says updates require additional storage. Requirements and update sizes can change, so check the current store page before installing.

Battle Hub
Battle Hub is a shared space for players to gather and communicate using their avatars, meet at cabinets, and play against one another. Capcom’s listing also mentions classic arcade games in its Game Center.
Drive Gauge and Real Time Commentary
The Drive Gauge is a resource-management system used in combat. Capcom describes it as “a new system to manage your resources.” The Real Time Commentary Feature adds match commentary and explanations.

Are character and Ultimate Passes required?
No. Capcom’s June 29, 2026 announcement presents Year 1 through Year 4 Character Passes and Ultimate Passes as add-ons and explicitly says the separately purchased base game is required to use them. The announcement does not say a pass is required to play the base game.
In that announcement, each Character Pass includes four additional characters, Outfit 1 colors 3–10, and Drive Tickets. An Ultimate Pass includes the Character Pass content, Outfit 2 and 3 costumes, and additional Drive Tickets. Year 1 and Year 2 passes also include additional stages. These are the contents stated in the dated announcement; availability, release timing, regional terms, and contents may change. Check Capcom’s pass announcement and your regional store for current details.
