What weapons were leaked in Battlefield 6? A June 11, 2026 report by Battlefield-Inside, attributing its findings to dataminer Temporyal, names four previously unannounced weapons found in game files: the EF88, BREN 3, VSSM and HTI. They are reported file findings—not confirmed additions to the game. [Battlefield-Inside]
What weapons were leaked in Battlefield 6?
The June 2026 report assigns these categories to the four names:
| Reported weapon | Category in the report |
|---|---|
| EF88 | Assault rifle |
| BREN 3 | Carbine |
| VSSM | DMR |
| HTI | Bolt-action rifle |
The report says the names appeared in game files examined by Temporyal. It does not establish that the weapons are playable, when they might arrive, or whether every entry will make it into a public release. The report itself cautions that file content can change before developers release it. [Battlefield-Inside]
Are the leaked Battlefield 6 weapons confirmed?
No. EA’s public updates dated September 30 and October 1, 2026 discuss weapon balance and future game systems, but do not confirm the EF88, BREN 3, VSSM or HTI. [EA Season 5 community update] [EA Season 5 and beyond look-ahead]

What EA has announced
EA’s September 30 update previews Season 5 balance changes affecting PDWs, carbines, assault rifles, LMGs and DMRs. It mentions tuning for the M39 EMR and SVDM and says a full weapon-by-weapon breakdown will come in update notes. That is balance news, not confirmation of the four datamined names. [EA Season 5 community update]
In its October 1 look-ahead, EA describes ongoing Battlefield 6 and REDSEC content into 2027 and says it is exploring gunplay-system expansion, an improved firing range and bolt-action sniper balance. It does not announce these four weapons. [EA Season 5 and beyond look-ahead]

How the 2026 report differs from the older 50-plus weapon leak
A separate 2025 report should not be merged with the four-name list. On August 28, 2025, creator TheXclusiveAce published a video about a “50+” weapon datamine from the Battlefield Labs client. That figure is the video’s framing of a historical leak, not an official EA roster total or a current, complete list. [TheXclusiveAce]
The 2025 Battlefield Labs report and Temporyal’s June 2026 findings are separate datamine reports from different dates. Neither should be treated as an authoritative inventory of what is currently available or what EA will release.

Does Battlefield 6 have an official weapon total?
EA has not published a total, according to a September 2026 roster compilation by NeuralBoost. The guide says an EA weapon-class guide dated July 21, 2026 listed 62 guns in eight categories, while an RPKM LMG appeared in progression information and patch notes but was missing from that guide. These are figures and a discrepancy reported by a secondary source, not an EA-confirmed total; they also do not verify the four leaked names. [NeuralBoost]
| Category in the guide | Count attributed to the EA guide by NeuralBoost |
|---|---|
| Assault rifles | 11 |
| Carbines | 9 |
| SMGs | 10 |
| LMGs | 9 |
| DMRs | 6 |
| Sniper rifles | 6 |
| Shotguns | 4 |
| Secondary weapons | 7 |
The eight category counts sum to 62. NeuralBoost separately notes the RPKM discrepancy; the available reporting does not establish an EA-confirmed count that includes it. Roster totals can differ depending on the source and counting date.
