Its route runs from an Order scientist’s home to a meat-processing plant, then through an escape and a fight with the flying Oppressor before you reach Zadra’s lab. The home barrier puzzle is solved by disabling the generator in the nearby shed.
Mission details and preparation
The mission begins at Outbounders HQ in The Howl, where Conway gives you the assignment. PowerPyx recommends level 5; that is a guide’s recommendation, not an official minimum. Game8 describes the processing-plant section as difficult and suggests leveling up and looting first if you are struggling.

How to get into the Order scientist’s home
- Follow the mission marker to the scientist’s home. The entrance barrier is powered by a generator in the nearby shed.
- Circle the shed to find a gap, then shoot the generator through it. Alternatively, climb onto the shed and ground-slam through the roof to access the generator. The walkthroughs describe reaching it from above and destroying the tank or generator.
- Once the barrier drops, enter the home and deal with the turrets inside.
- Go upstairs to reach the story encounter, then defeat the Order reinforcements as required by the objective.
Follow the trail to the processing plant
After the home sequence, head to the meat-processing facility and investigate where the wildhorns are being taken. The plant objectives revolve around its shower controls and meat-release mechanism:

- Trace the wildhorn route to the plant.
- Override the shower controls.
- Release the meat, then enter the facility.
Find Zadra and escape the plant
Work through the plant and its vents to reach Zadra, then speak with her. Follow her escape route through the facility. If progress halts, clear the Order guards blocking the way; the next objectives take you to an elevator and then onto the roof.
Collect teleporter components and defeat the Oppressor
In the area beyond the roof, collect teleporter parts, control circuits, and transponder packs from enemies. Install the components at the central machine, then eliminate the remaining reinforcements and destroy the flying Oppressor. Follow the objective marker after the fight to continue to Zadra’s lab.

Reach Zadra’s lab
Continue along the marked route and climb the wall into a cave. Enemies that swim through the sand attack there; defeat them and proceed to the lab. Speak with Zadra to complete the mission.
Mission rewards
PowerPyx and Game8 both list XP, cash, Eridium, a shotgun, and the Fought the Law Vault Hunter Style. Their reward details differ: PowerPyx calls the shotgun rare and also lists a Gloss vehicle paintjob, while Game8 describes the shotgun as blue or purple rarity and does not mention the paintjob. These are guide-reported details, so check the in-game reward screen rather than assuming an exact shotgun rarity or vehicle paintjob.
