This 2025 live-action adaptation, directed by Jared Hess, follows four people pulled through a portal into the Overworld. They team up with Steve on a quest and encounter Piglins and Zombies. Jack Black plays Steve, and Jason Momoa plays Garrett Garrison; the official film site also lists Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks, Sebastian Hansen and Jennifer Coolidge among the cast. Warner Bros.
