A job listing associated with WB Games Montréal points to a new AAA game based on Warner Bros. and DC Comics intellectual property, but it does not identify the game or confirm that it has been officially announced. The listing also referred to post-launch operations and live-service strategy, suggesting those elements may be considered without establishing the game’s final format.
What points to a new DC game?
On July 29, 2025, PlayStation Universe reported that WB Games Montréal had posted an Executive Producer job listing for a AAA game based on an iconic property from the Warner Bros. and DC Comics catalogs. The reproduced listing said the producer would lead development from concept through launch and beyond. PlayStation Universe’s report is the source for that description.
The original listing is no longer accessible at the URL cited in contemporary coverage, so the job description is historical evidence reported by those outlets—not a live announcement from the studio. Gaming Amigos also reported the role and noted that no official title or release window had been announced.
Does the listing confirm a live-service game?
No. The job description included responsibility for post-launch live operations and live-service strategy. That wording makes a live-service component a reasonable possibility, but it does not confirm the game’s structure, multiplayer features, ongoing content, or monetization. PlayStation Universe’s account of the listing does not supply those details.

What remains unknown?
The reports do not identify the title, the DC character or franchise, platforms, a release date or window, or a public launch plan. Batman, Superman, a sequel to an existing game, or any other specific property should not be treated as confirmed.
Warner Bros. Discovery’s broader games strategy offers context, not a schedule for this project. In March 2026, TheWrap reported that the company’s focus included Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Mortal Kombat, and DC, and that it expected to return to major franchises with unannounced titles in 2027 and 2028. That corporate outlook does not establish that this WB Games Montréal project is one of those titles. TheWrap’s March 19, 2026 coverage discusses the wider strategy.

What to look for in an official announcement
A formal reveal would be needed to answer the basic questions the job listing leaves open. Until then, the report supports only a limited conclusion: WB Games Montréal was associated with hiring for a AAA game based on Warner Bros. and DC Comics IP, and the role included planning for post-launch operations.
