No evidence establishes a built-in cheat-code menu, console commands or a money exploit. Treat “cheats” in searches for this game as shorthand for solutions, recipes and route tips. The combinations below come from community guides rather than an official developer-published recipe sheet.
Before you start: spoiler and source warnings
- Expect story spoilers. The walkthrough reveals the teas served to the customers, the order of several scenes and the choices used to close the tavern.
- Use prompts as the final authority. Community advice says to start with the recommended tea, then change it only when the game hints that a different brew is needed.
- The detailed route is unofficial. A Steam community walkthrough attributed to Pri has a removal notice for a community-guidelines violation. A SteamAH copy credits Pri and lylat, but that is a republication, not independent confirmation.

The six ingredients and how to read the recipe table
The separate community Tea Menu guide names six fictional ingredients:

- Mellow Flower
- Sugar Shroom
- Tangy Berry
- Peppery Seed
- Dark Tonic
The table uses the guide’s numeric slot order. Each combination means selecting three ingredient slots, including the repeated-slot combination for the undiscovered tea. Because the Brisk Nectar entry is known to be displayed incorrectly in-game, do not assume that every number-to-name translation is reliable.

The Brisk Nectar discrepancy
The Tea Menu guide specifically warns that the game can display the wrong ingredients for Brisk Nectar. Its correction is Spring Leaf, Mellow Flower and Dark Tonic. That conflicts with a straightforward reading of the numbered table, where Brisk Nectar is shown as 1 + 3 + 6. If the game rejects the numbered combination or shows contradictory names, trust the named correction and check the menu slots on your own screen.
The hidden “???” tea
The guide calls the tea that brings the two characters together “???”. It is unlocked while you are trying to bond them, using 2 + 2 + 2 in the community table. Do not expect its name to appear before the relevant story progress; it is presented as a discovery rather than an ordinary recipe.

Story walkthrough: a reliable route
The following route condenses the player-created walkthrough labels and the Tea Menu advice. It is intentionally spoiler-heavy. If you want to discover the conversations naturally, stop after the recipe table.
1. Open the night with Spring Classic
When the tavern opens, begin with Spring Classic (1 + 3 + 5). The community guide labels this segment “Spring Classic (Open for the night).” The Tea Menu guide also recommends Spring Classic as the Adventurer’s starting tea. Serve it unless the game gives you a direct reason to change the selection.
2. Serve Bittersweet Love during the first sequence
The walkthrough’s initial sequence includes Bittersweet Love (1 + 5 + 6). Select the combination when the scene calls for it, serve the tea, and continue the conversation. The route is not a speed-running trick: the customer dialogue is the trigger for the next service request, so advancing text without reading the prompt can make the sequence appear out of order.
3. Use Dreamy Potion for Horn’s story
For Horn’s story, the community Tea Menu guide identifies Dreamy Potion (3 + 5 + 6) as the required tea. The walkthrough’s opening list also places Dreamy Potion in the early progression. Keep the starting tea until the game hints that Horn needs something else, then switch to Dreamy Potion. This prompt-based approach prevents you from changing recipes prematurely and missing the intended conversation beat.
4. Continue serving and answer Yes when the route asks
After the first teas, the walkthrough gives additional service steps followed by Yes responses. Choose Yes whenever the route presents that confirmation, then continue serving the prompted tea. The guide recommends continuing to choose Yes after serving teas because doing so fills the recipe list and advances the customers’ interaction. If your dialogue differs, follow the current prompt rather than forcing a combination from a different scene.

The walkthrough labels a later section “Tart Nectar (Get adventurer chatting).” Use Tart Nectar (2 + 3 + 4) when that request appears. This is the point at which the Adventurer’s conversation develops; it is not a general-purpose replacement for Spring Classic at the beginning of the game.

6. Close the tavern with Sweet & Sour Love
The final walkthrough label is “Sweet & Sour Love (Close for the night).” Brew Sweet & Sour Love (2 + 5 + 6) for the closing service, then follow the Yes response specified by the scene. Completing this section ends the short story route and is the community guide’s path to the final relationship beat.
Achievement tips
Steam lists five achievements for A Tavern for Tea. The official page displays examples including Dreamy Potion, Tart Nectar and Spring Classic. Community walkthrough labels also identify Sweet & Sour Love as a closing objective. The fifth achievement is associated by the community guide with completing the recipe list, using Sunset Blend; because the available guide does not establish the exact official achievement wording, use the in-game achievement panel for its title.
Spring Classic
Serve Spring Classic (1 + 3 + 5) during the opening service. It is the recommended starting tea for the Adventurer, so avoid changing it before a prompt tells you to do so.

Progress Horn’s story with Dreamy Potion (3 + 5 + 6). The Tea Menu guide explicitly associates this tea with Horn’s progression. If it does not trigger immediately, advance the conversation until the game requests a change rather than repeatedly serving it at the wrong point.
Tart Nectar
Use Tart Nectar (2 + 3 + 4) for the Adventurer-chatting section. This corresponds to the walkthrough’s “Get adventurer chatting” step.
Sweet & Sour Love
Use Sweet & Sour Love (2 + 5 + 6) during the “Close for the night” section. Keep selecting the affirmative response required by the route after serving it.

The community walkthrough associates the recipe-list achievement with Sunset Blend (1 + 2 + 4). To maximize your chance of filling the list, continue choosing Yes after story teas and use the complete table during a replay. The exact achievement title is not established by the available guide, so verify its wording in Steam’s achievement panel.
How to unlock the ??? recipe and the character connection
The Tea Menu guide says the connecting tea is “???”, unlocked while you are trying to bond the two characters. Enter 2 + 2 + 2 according to the community table when the bonding scene makes the recipe available. If the menu does not accept that input, check whether your ingredient order differs from the guide’s six-slot order and wait for the story prompt that introduces the discovery.
This is a narrative unlock, not a recipe you should expect to brew at the first visit. The game’s structure ties tea changes to customer worries, so experimenting outside the prompted scene may not advance the bond.

The numbers do not match my menu
The community table is positional, not a universal ingredient ID system. Compare your six visible slots with Spring Leaf, Mellow Flower, Sugar Shroom, Tangy Berry, Peppery Seed and Dark Tonic, then use the names where available. Do not treat the table as proof that slot 1 is always Spring Leaf in every interface version.
Brisk Nectar is rejected
Use the named correction from the Tea Menu guide: Spring Leaf + Mellow Flower + Dark Tonic. The guide warns that the game displays the wrong ingredients for this tea, which explains why a direct numerical translation can fail.
The achievement did not unlock
Check that you served the tea during the correct story segment, not merely brewed it in the after-hours menu. Replay the scene, wait for the customer’s request, serve the indicated recipe, and complete the following dialogue. For the recipe-list objective, review the Steam achievement panel and use Sunset Blend as the community-associated trigger while completing the remaining entries.

I changed tea too early and the scene stalled
Reload or replay the scene and keep the current tea until the dialogue explicitly suggests a change. The community Tea Menu guide repeatedly advises changing teas only when prompted; this is more reliable than trying every recipe at each customer visit.
