A lower placement does not automatically make a Stand a poor choice. Pocket Gamer explicitly notes, “You can still play other stands that are not in the top positions,” and says a player’s preference and matchups can make lower-ranked choices worthwhile.
How should you choose a Stand?
Rather than treating the tier label as a universal answer, compare options against how you play. The list does not score every Stand against these factors, but they are useful questions to ask when narrowing your choices:
- Mode: Decide whether you are choosing for PvP, PvE, or both. The official Roblox game listing describes progression, fighting enemies and bosses, and game modes, so a PvP-oriented recommendation need not be best for every activity.
- Defense and survivability: Consider whether a Stand’s defensive tools suit your ability to avoid or withstand attacks.
- Damage and combos: Look at how a Stand creates openings and follows up, rather than ranking it by damage alone.
- Cooldowns and execution: A strong effect may be less useful if it is difficult to land or unavailable when you need it.
- Preference: A Stand that fits your timing and preferred playstyle may be more rewarding than a higher-ranked option that does not.
Examples of trade-offs in the list
Pocket Gamer describes Sans as banned in PvP and says its dodge can help avoid an opening strike. That makes the entry a poor fit if your main goal is selecting a PvP Stand, regardless of its S-tier placement.
For Star Platinum Requiem, Pocket Gamer describes a passive that gives an initial strike and subsequent effects involving 5% of the target’s maximum HP, while also noting a long cooldown. Those details are the article’s descriptions, not independent gameplay test results; the cooldown is a practical trade-off to consider alongside the effect.

What does “6.4” mean here?
“6.4” is the version label in Pocket Gamer’s tier-list title. The official Roblox listing’s search-visible description instead identifies the game as Update 6.2.4. Those labels do not match, and the available pages do not establish whether the listing is behind or the labels use different update conventions. The Roblox page therefore does not confirm that 6.4 is the current live game version.
Check the live game and its current update information before relying on a placement for a specific patch. The tier list is dated October 6, 2026, and its recommendations may not describe later balance changes.
