Adin Ross reportedly paid about US$4,000–5,000 for an early copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, but reports said he could not enter the game modes before the servers opened. What happened with Adin Ross’s early copy of Black Ops 6?
MeuPlayStation reported on October 24, 2024, that Ross had bought an early copy for US$5,000. According to the report, he could open Call of Duty HQ but could not play because the game’s servers were still offline. MeuPlayStation’s report

ExoJuego reported a day earlier that Ross said during a livestream he had paid roughly US$4,000–5,000. It likewise described him reaching the interface but being unable to play the available modes before the October 25 launch. ExoJuego’s report
The accounts agree on the basic episode, but they are secondary reports, not independent proof of a sale. The reviewed coverage does not establish who sold Ross the copy or whether he received a refund. Why couldn’t he play before launch?
Having a copy of a game before its release does not necessarily mean its online services are available. In this case, the reports said Black Ops 6’s servers had not opened, which left Ross unable to start a mode even though he could reach Call of Duty HQ. The reports do not establish that an early physical copy alone would have unlocked pre-release play.
Activision’s support guide says Black Ops 6 requires a continuous internet connection for all game modes, including Campaign. Can you play Black Ops 6 offline?
No. Activision’s support information specifies a continuous internet connection for every mode, Campaign included. Owning a disc or having the game installed does not remove that requirement.
